I have utmost respect for cops and what they do. Individuals that are bad should be dealt with as individuasl not reflective of all police. Society has become demanding and ungrateful. It is much more likely a patient whose bacon I save complains about the bill or the nursing service than says thank you. Ultimately you find the satisfaction in knowing the worth of what you do or you do something else but don’t expect any gratitude along the way. Sad.

While I think the whole “defund the police” thing is ridiculous and is most definitely being pushed by neo-communists, I think the guy that wrote this article has some serious rose-colored glasses on with regards to the state of his profession. I have no doubt that there are a heck of a lot of good cops, but for years I have been watching police forces get more militarized and engage in tactics that are unfit for a free society, no-knock raids at 3:00am as one example.
The cop in the Floyd case gave the Left just what they needed to kick off this coup because he had to keep his knee on Floyd’s neck for several minutes even after the guy was handcuffed, and smirk with his hands in his pockets while he did it. Does the word “professionalism” mean anything anymore?

What the cop in minnesota did was indefensible. He continued with a knee on the neck for 5 minutes after the perp was unresponsive and incontinent. He is just one cop and should not be used to smear the entire profession which is largely honorable and hard working. One bad decision by one cop does not translate to all who wear the uniform

Me frightened? hardly. I call them as I see them. The cop in Minnesota was criminally wrong and should be prosecuted. Most cops I work with and know are decent salt of the earth human beings deserving of respect. How does that make me frightened?

OK, I had to go back and look at the photos I could find of the incident and zoom in, and you appear to be correct, the cop had black gloves on and did not have his hands in his pockets. The photos are very deceiving. I didn’t realize that was a leftist talking point though - I don’t watch TV or read leftist garbage unless I have to.

There has been a lot of rightful outrage over the poor treatment of police during this crisis, and rightfully so.
But let me point you to the WARNING...to what may be happening behind the scenes. You have to ask yourself What is the Dem plan to police their cities, if not these forces? Some are suggesting UN. Others are suggesting Antifa, if you can imagine that. Look to the Brown Shirt tactics of the 1930’s, who replaced local forces and performed the bidding of their political masters. Think the elections in those cities will be fair and honest? Think people will feel safe coming out to the polls?
Remember when the media said to not blame the totality of muslims for the terrorist actions of an individual?
Depends on which group you belong to that the media will smear the reputations of one or all. If the cop belonged to a muslim
