I have utmost respect for cops and what they do. Individuals that are bad should be dealt with as individuasl not reflective of all police. Society has become demanding and ungrateful. It is much more likely a patient whose bacon I save complains about the bill or the nursing service than says thank you. Ultimately you find the satisfaction in knowing the worth of what you do or you do something else but dont expect any gratitude along the way. Sad.
Mom MD, I appreciate the medical profession. Don’t think the ungrateful ones are the majority.
Served in LE and nursing. In nursing I saw the results of what LE brought us. In LE I saw it all. Witnessing the worst of humanity is soul crushing.
Right-There is a pervasive disrespect for authority of every kind.
Young people do not recognize any authority above or outside themselves.
Whether it’s a teacher, a female, a priest, any adult (parents included), a shop owner, a police officer... etc. No respect is shown.
All this has been a long time coming and Americans bought into it... wholesale. Hollywood glamorized counter culture of every description and all criminals have been elevated to the status of heroes.
It didn’t arrive like a bolt out of the blue. However, the DNC has capitalized on it and grafted their racist spin onto it, to get votes.
the US Congress has made ITSELF into a criminal counter-culture which has become unrecognizable to honest and law-abiding Americans.
