PolitiFact keeps doing fact checks against conservatives that acknowledge that theyre using facts, but theyre still False because well, they dont like the way those facts are assembled. These factual facts arent making the right point. Theyre too narrow. They "omit context."
Black conservative radio host Larry Elder was flagged by PolitiFacts liberal readers for a June 2 appearance on Hannity where he declared "Last year, there were nine unarmed black people killed [by police]. Nineteen unarmed white people." He was citing the numbers of a liberal newspaper: The Washington Post!

So why is it that there is no conservative equivalent of these organizations?
You got the money? If I did, I would open the 2nd Amendment Bank of America. And I would not loan to any liberal cabal.
There is. But its called talk radio. In reality any organization which calls itself objective - and fact check qualifies as precisely that sort of claim - inevitably will default into liberalism.
OSullivans First Law
An eternal truth.
By John OSullivan EDITORS NOTE: This appeared in the October 27, 1989, issue of National Review.Robert Michels as any reader of James Burnham's finest book, The Machiavellians, knows was the author of the Iron Law of Oligarchy. This states that in any organization the permanent officials will gradually obtain such influence that its day-to-day program will increasingly reflect their interests rather than its own stated philosophy. To take a homely example, congressmen from egalitarian parties somehow end up voting for higher pay and generous expenses for congressmen. We can also catch an ironic echo of Michels's law in Stalin's title of General Secretary, as well as in the fact that powerful mandarins in the British government creep about under such deceptive pseudonyms as "Permanent Under-Secretary. . . ..
All of which is by way of introducing a new law of my own . . .I cite as supporting evidence the ACLU, the Ford Foundation, and the Episcopal Church. The reason is, of course, that people who staff such bodies tend to be the sort who don't like private profit, business, making money, the current organization of society, and, by extension, the Western world. At which point Michels's Iron Law of Oligarchy takes over and the rest follows.
- O'Sullivan's First Law: All organizations that are not actually right-wing will over time become left-wing.
The FR could easily branch out to absorb conservatives who use these liberal sites. But it would have to get into advertising.
Yeah...only allow CCW to access funding...could be interesting
Politifact would claim oxygen is racist if Trump said he loved oxygen.
Explains facts to libs is like explaining algebra to my dog
There are no facts at PolitiFact.
PolitiFact (a misnomer in itself) comment:
“Elders claim also omitted important context: that black people in the U.S. are disproportionately killed by police relative to their share of the population.”
I might point out that PolitiFact’s claim also omitted important context: that deaths in encounters with police as a function of race can only be fairly compared in terms of the number of contacts with police (if you never interact with police, you will never get killed by them), and the crime rate for the various races (and it is commission of crimes that generally precipitates encounters with law enforcement) is different for those various races.
Elder has a star om Hollywood blvd. The only reason they don’t like him is because he left the plantation and refuses to toe the party line. He is a smart lawyer and is nationally syndicated on Salem. Something you cannot do if you are black. Never let the truth get in the way of the agenda.
IF black lives mattered - if it wasn't just a stunt to express hatred for police - it would seem the thousands of black men killed by other black men would matter.
They don't... not to the movement.
B on B okee dokee. White LEO on B? Nuh Uh!
