Yeah, give them the money , but our president allocates the money, maybe have Ben Carson oversee it.

Skinnys aren’t ever going to vote Republican. That was the point of letting them in the country.

Why should anyone be on the hook for damages done to private property?
Damage to publicly owned buildings may be a different story, but private property?
Even knowing the large number of small enterprises destroyed should not change that perspective.

Those folks who own those businesses made the decision to locate based on some rationale. That rationale has proven flawed, at this point. And, THAT is economic reality hitting home.

But, now, the snowflakes and SJW crowd, coddled and encouraged by their handlers and sponsors, will whine and cry that ‘government’ MUST restore them. SCREW THAT!

You all made your bed. Now, sleep in it. People who want to restart, and have the means, are free to restart. But to say that they should be restored simply because their local government refused to come to their aid early enough to maintain the peace is simply the hidden arrogance of socialism on full display.

Not a penny. He is responsible for allowing it to get out of hand, and the US taxpayer is not responsible for cleaning up the messes the woke elected officials caused. Confiscate all of their assets to go toward paying for the damage to businesses. The people who voted for these idiots should pay for this.

I understand helping out when a hurricane or earthquake hits and area, but not when the city fails in one of its core functions of public safety.

Even then, too many dollars are spent to rebuild over and over again. At what point is the insanity recognized?

I believe the people of Minnesota should carry the cost of this tragedy. They elected the policies and ideology of THEIR state and city government. Therefore, American citizens of other states do not have obligation to have our taxes support their ideology. In my opinion, there was no effort in protecting the police, citizens, traffic and structures in that chaos. I believe they did not accept the President’s offer to assist. They wanted to make a statement. Divide and Conquer, they followed the rule book to the letter.

The response needs to be both strong and consistent on this serious matter:

Federal taxpayers are already paying.

Shrinkage losses are tax deductible.

It will be interesting what Team Trump does here.
Maybe individual business loans for those directly affected.
Not a bailout for the State per say.
Whatever her does is not know here. That’s for sure.
MAGA

Good idea. No way the state/city should be in control of any federal funds after failing so spectacularly to prevent the rioting and fires.

Stupidest idea I ever heard of.
We should be sending them a bill of tens of billions of dollars for being the root cause of all this destruction.
Alternatively, send a B2 Bomber.
F**k em.

Remember the 1967 race riots in Newark, NJ? The “white flight” that followed? The wiser blacks also fled. Over fifty years ago and the city is still blighted. Spartacus himself did little for his backers.

The “long, hot summer” of 67 happened in a time when the economy was stagnant. This time the economy will bounce back, but not so quickly for the cities that allowed looting to happen.

The democrats will appeal to the ideas of the Marshall Plan. If America can rebuild post war nations around the world why not here? My thought would be to relocate the federal bureaucracies to different localities around the nation. Decentralize DC and provide economic stimulus to different areas of the country.

Only upon the immediate resignations of the governor, the mayor, the atty’s General both state and local, then maybe we’ll have a talk with the new officials.

The hollywood elites are willing to bail out the rioters, so they have plenty of funds to fix the damage caused by their little darlings.

” then sticking your bloody, grubby paws in the faces of normals and asking for charity and civil recompense, you testosterone-deficient fag magnet??? I was rooting for the mob to pummel you into a puddle of chowder, you earthworm.”

This reads like the opening sentence in the next great American novel.

Do continue.
