Are Elizabeth Warren, Kamala Harris on Joe Biden’s running mate shortlist?

The Democratic Party’s veepstakes may have narrowed down to two top contenders.

Out of all the potential running mates thought to be on Joe Biden’s shortlist, only two — California Sen. Kamala Harris and Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren — spoke at the Texas Democratic Party’s state convention, which ended Saturday.

“These things don’t happen by accident,” Democratic strategist Brad Bannon told The Post. “I think those two are getting an audition in Texas.”

My younger brother was born in Istanbul while my father was an advisor to the Turkish Naval Academy in the fifties. Growing up it was understood and not denied by anyone at all that he would be ineligible for the Presidency because he was born outside the USA. It came up in conversation and “did you know...? chiding often. At 16 he even had to go to the Turkish Consulate to renounce his Turkish citizenship or go on over there to serve a year in the army. I always thought he should have gone. Turkiye and the Turks were very different then from now.

Same here. Biden needs to pick a black woman. He knows it can’t be someone who’d offend white indendepents - like Stacy Abrams would likely do.

Harris is not physically unattractive and though her message sucks, she speaks well enough to not appear like a flaming socialist or idiot to those voters.

There will be a segment of BLM’ers in the Democrat party who won’t like her because she think she was too hawkish on crime while Cali’s AG - but they’ll be forced to accept it or walk out. They won’t walk out.

Harris also fills the bill for having a female on the Dem ticket. Electorally, she does nothing for Biden but demographically, she could help him.

I do think you're right to say that, though I would quibble that Perez' DNC isn't a commanding player, due to "the perception that it hasn't recovered from 2016's self-inflicted blows," fundraisers say.

Barry, HRC and Slick are in combination the Dems' tour de force, which is to say that they represent the (Rockefeller) Deep State interests for the Dems. They're all three bastard Rockefellers (as is Kurt Russell) and of course, the maxim since Nelson Rockefeller--who tried so many times and so many ways--has been that the Rockefellers can't win an election under their own name.

And... BTW, who is allowed to sit, dine, toast and stand at the queen's right hand?

Kurt Russell is one I hadn’t heard of before.

Side note: Apparently acting is not so difficult as actors like to claim, since it appears that the elite can just dump their random bastards in that profession and have them become wildly successful. And perhaps that is another reason why actors make so much money compared to other professions that take far more intelligence or talent.
