According to a study of Excited Delirium ( EXD) conducted by Drs. Takeuchi and Henderson of the USC Keck School of Medicine and Terry Ahern of UCSD Medical School, which was published in the Western Journal of Emergency Medicine, EXD is ...characterized by agitation, aggression, acute distress and sudden death, often in the pre-hospital care setting. It is typically associated with the use of drugs that alter dopamine processing, hyperthermia, and, most notably, sometimes with death of the affected person in the custody of law enforcement. Subjects typically die from cardiopulmonary arrest, although the cause is debated. Unfortunately, an adequate treatment plan has yet to be established, in part due to the fact that most patients die before hospital arrival. (Emphasis not in the original)

Therefore, Officer Chauvin was not committing an act of murder but implementing a restraining technique. Indeed, he may have been trying to prevent Floyd from hurting himself.

His defense team has their work cut for them. I think the DA has over charged him. If hes found not guilty or guilty of a lesser offense, it plays into the mobs hands only furthering the mayhem.
>> It doesnt address why Mr. Chauvin continued his knee to neck restraint for several minutes after Mr. Floyd became non responsive.
Identical poor technique and overlong compression (13 minutes) causing the death of a man in Dallas:

“Therefore, Officer Chauvin was not committing an act of murder but implementing a restraining technique.”
I agree he wasn’t trying to murder the guy.
So ... maybe everyone should be thanking Chauvin for his gallant but failed attempts at keeping Floyd from hurting himself using the “knee to the neck” restraining tactic? :-)
Chauvin will be sacrificed to the mob. Imagine the looting and burning if he is acquitted.
And no one started riots in his honor.
JMO, Chauvin had a beef with Floyd, and he used his police status to kill him.
That is wrong, and it does remind me of the killing scenes in the Scorcese film "Goodfellas".
Actually that may be Ellisons goal.
“But there is a huge gap in the video indicating the events preceding the interaction between Chauvin in Floyd.”
Just as they held back the full Rodney King video.
Who has the whole Floyd video? Where is it?
It looks to me like the EMT’s already knew he was dead when they arrived.
“I think the DA has over charged him.”
I don’t think Chauvin did wrong until it was clear that Floyd wasn’t struggling anymore. That seems like a time he could have lifted his knee a bit and just moved it down to the shoulder area... easily moved back again if need be. Continuing on once Floyd was clearly unconscious is where he loses me.
Yep, he’s utterly effed. Nobody in this government has the balls to tell the race flamers, the race terrorists to go to hell. That fat pig Oprah is having a town hall on police racism to further flame race relations. Maybe she can explain to us how she is able to read a police officers mind where she can so accurately determine he acted on racism.
You can bet the defense attorneys will try to work the theory in.
“It looks to me like the EMTs already knew he was dead when they arrived.”
They were from the MFD. Apparently the ambulance medics never got out.
“Who has the whole Floyd video? Where is it?”
Posted. Many times. There is not one video but a compilation of videos excluding cop Cams.
“I dont think Chauvin did wrong until it was clear that Floyd wasnt struggling anymore.”
Lane, rookie cop, twice prompted C to take action to make it easier to breathe.
Yeah, I saw that. It’s a pity all four are going down, when it seems clear to me only Chauvin was to blame.
but I just don't know.....the neck cop could just be as evil and sadistic as he appears...
Kneeling on his neck and back contributed to his death. The police were responsible for those actions. The way that they performed the restraints violated department policy. The charges against them are justified and now it's up to a jury to decide.
His underlying motivation for killing him is not important. The fact that he did is.
