Progressive ideology always rests on a conviction that the current regressive system is comprehensively unjust and must be destroyed by exploiting its weaknesses.
The most famous proponent of such tactics in recent years has been the late Saul Alinksy, the intellectual godfather of the modern Democrat Party, but former Soviet journalist and KGB informant Yuri Bezmenov laid out an even more concise strategy for subversion in a 1984 interview.
Alinksys seminal book specified 13 Rules for Radicals, but Bezmenov had only four stages of ideological subversion, and they will sound very familiar to anyone following the current wave of left-wing riots, or the politicized final stages of the coronavirus panic before it: Demoralization, Destabilization, Crisis, and Normalization.

I saw an hour long story about him on EWTN Eternal Word Television Network, a Catholic T.V. station started by Mother Angelica in 1981. She passed away about four years ago. She must have been 180 years old.

The only people in crisis are the democrats. Their ideology is dead.
I sometimes wonder when I first noticed that the left really was a subversive, anti-American movement. Not your father’s Dem Party, as they say. Post-JFK.
I guess it happened during some of the incidents where I was slack jawed over the Dems’ stance. Covering for Communist China, siding against America First, going all-in for PC and ending of campus freedom of speech by speakers—— or when? Not sure.
But they are fully evil and want to ruin our country for their own power trip. Defund and disarm police so the “inmates run the asylum?” Along with letting prisoners out early to compete with illegals for benefits. Shut down the economy for more months to ruin it for Trump?
No shame.
EWTN Radio is also one of my favorites. Raymond Arroyo and Theresa Tomeo and others pull no punches in saying Pelosi promotes babykilling abortion laws and then wraps herself in phony religious piety later.
And Tomeo has frequently slashed at Gretchen Whitmer for her edict policies (marijuana stores and lottery okay but groups trying to pray or hold a religious service get threatened by police.) And peaceful capitol protest in MI gets smeared as “dangerous” and punished by longer lockdown weeks added.

I get the television station.
Maybe you can get one of your local stations to air the daily show.
When I'm out driving the radio station in on one of my buttons.
Those two entities are a BREATH OF FRESH AIR in our media world!
You DO remember "Hanoi" Jane Fonda schmoozing with the North Vietnamese soldiers, don't you? She was/is USELESS.
Their anger foments from the President exposing them all.
They are idiots and they know it. Trump turns on the light and they all run like roaches.
How many fingers am I holding up, Winston?
Four.
And if the party says that it is not four but fivethen how many?
Four.
- George Orwell, 1984
“Say that Black Lives Matter, Winston.”
‘All lives matter.’
‘And if the party says that it is not all lives but Black lives that matter, then which lives?’
“All.”
- Conversation between globalists and people who refuse to recite their explicitly racist mantra today
In case anyone has forgotten (and I assure you the globalists know how the book they are using as a blueprint ends), Winston is no longer in any way himself once he accepts and recites their false reality.
There are no enemies on the left. Rule number one.
The traitor Jane....
Sure I remember her. Like remembering a painful lower back spasm that last for weeks. Or a bout of cramps.
So maybe November, 1963 was the cutoff. Who can say?

Jane Fonda has offered detailed explanations and apologies for the actions that earned her the nickname Hanoi Jane during the Vietnam War. But as Megyn Kelly made clear Monday, many Americans arent ready to forgive and forget the events of more than 45 years ago.
On Monday, while addressing her much-criticized question to Fonda about plastic surgery, Kelly said Fonda is in no position to judge anyone because of her actions during Vietnam.
Look at her treatment of our military during the Vietnam War, many of our veterans still call her Hanoi Jane thanks to her radio broadcasts, which attempted to shame American troops, Kelly told her NBC audience. She posed on an anti-aircraft gun used to shoot down our American pilots.
I sure won't forget. She knew better but she didn't care. I'm pretty sure she was advised: "Don't go there. DON'T DO IT!"
Serves her right for an UNFORGIVABLE action.
