The nation's capital braced itself with members of the National Guard guarding famous landmarks and patrolling a new pedestrian-only demonstration area as streets were closed off.
The White House remained a fortress, with black fences between seven and nine feet high erected around its perimeter cutting off protesters, as D.C.'s mayor formally renamed the street outside 'Black Lives Matter Plaza'.
Streets were shut in downtown from 6am as the first of the dozens of demonstrations organized for the day began and the city's metro system announced it was reopening cars closed due to coronavirus to boost rider capacity.

IIRC, I read a tweet this week that PDJT had planned a trip to his Bedminster resort in NJ this weekend, but cancelled those plans because of the bad optics.
It’s also outrageous that these insane riots are apparently forcing our POTUS to forego any golf outings to his Northern VA facility. No exercise! No fresh air! No relaxation!
These rebellious scum need to get off the street and go back to school or look for a job. They don’t realize that they are living in perhaps the best era in our country’s history to take advantage of all the amazing opportunities at their disposal for a wonderful life. President Trump has afforded them so much for which to be grateful and they’re too ignorant and myopic to appreciate it!!!
They don’t want a wonderful life. They want a communist dictatorship...with them in charge.

WELL, they cancelled the Memorial Day on the Mall and I would imagine the 4JUL fireworks so as a BONUS, we will let ‘them’ jam DC and give the ‘bad guys’ plenty of cover to do their dastardly deeds and the ‘innocents’ won’t have enough sense to leave the area when the SHTF and if the targets are the WH, those in the line of fire better hope it is fire hose and rubber bullets rather that rapid fire and drones and Warthogs....
The COWARDS hide behind women and children and people who MAY actually think they are doing a noble thing.
All the ‘REAL’ PEACEFUL PROTESTORS are pawns who are being manipulated by the local govts and the agitators.
Funny yesterday heard an interview with someone who said it was the most amazing sight, mostly white youths chanting black lives matter while local black business were being torched and looted and far too many blacks cheering them on.

I just try to respect those that still do.
Like I said, I’ve seen it firsthand dating someone in the projects for a number of years.
And driving a livery in bad neighborhoods when I was younger.
I’m SURE the ANTIFA kids and many on here have NO IDEA what many there live like.
Unless those here with a lot of empathy consider urine/needles/beer and whiskey bottles/used condoms etc. in the entrance and hallways and stairs of apartments to be normal, they would be shocked too.
And then their empathy might lessen.
It gets MUCH worse than what I saw on the floors but that’s all that’s fit to print here.
What a waste of the taxpayer’s money to quell this mania. . .and exactly who is funding all of this.
Am hoping lots of Oathkeepers, Bikers for Trump, and other Patriots show up in LARGE numbers today to help keep things peaceful and show support for President Trump. I’m too far away to join them, but am sending my prayers.

Doubt that will ever happen again and it certainly won’t for this particular virus. We know who is actually in danger from this China Virus (60-65 and older with pre existing conditions) and it is they who will be instructed (not ordered) to self quarantine.
Of course the Governors of the Lib States can order their citizens to lock down but I doubt many will pay attention.

The f’n MSM has hammered away on the adjective “peaceful” to describe the protests, even when buildings were burning down around them.
The only reason they pay attention now is that the governors call out the cops and sheriffs on “dissenters.” I actually think this is one of the things that has that has undermined local support for police departments and made everybody suspicious of them. They just exist to carry out dictatorial orders, not to fight crime.
It sounds like you know how the counting is done. Were the counts correct for the Tea Party and Beck marches? Are the counts correct for the Right To Life marches? We went to a lot of these marches and felt that crowd sizes were/are under reported. But that could just be my paranoia when it comes to the left.

With the Nation in crisis it is appropriate and necessary for the President to remain in DC at the White House.
PRAY for torrential storms, thunder, lightning, sleet, and hail. Not just for DC, but in every place the rioters are, and ONLY where they are — not the perimeters of their specific war zones.
I’ve been praying this since last night.
Dp0622, I have a terrible feeling that if they burn down the White House, or worse that I don’t even want to mention, that Antifa will begin killing black people and it will be blamed on patriots. They already despise Christians, so this will only bring more bloodshed in order to get us out of the way for their so-called utopia.
I hope I’m wrong. Either way, God is still on His throne, and it is time for believers to pray for the lost like never before.
