No the system did not work perfectly. The infiltration did not meet enough resistance to be prevented. Black mail has captured several members in gov. The system is filled with traitors. Unless that is addressed it will collapse.
I linked to a twitter feed of a video clip of a bunch of counter-snipers walking on DC streets. Although the footage was over 4 hours old and very liked on twitter, some here said it might give their position away. Jack Posobiec said that the little procession of armed counter-snipers was a deliberate show of force as you never usually see these type of guys. He said, however, that counter-snipers are usually around in DC but hidden.
Sure looks that way to me, too.

Jesus Christ, before He returned to Heaven, gave Christians the power to bind and loose.
See Mt: 16:19 and Mt. 18:18 gives us this authority. But what does it mean and how are we to wield it? Specifically, it can be to bind evil spirits and loose the heavenly host of holy angels (ministering spirits, see Hebrews 1).
