Police in Louisville, Kentucky, walked out on the city's mayor in protest at him 'disrespecting' them as they claimed he 'does not care about them at all'. Video shows officers and detectives from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) silently streaming out of a room as mayor Greg Fischer prepared to address them ahead of a 12-hour shift. Fraternal Order of Police president Ryan Nichols, who was not present, said the move was an unplanned reaction by officers who said they felt 'completely unsupported and disrespected.' Tensions in the city have been high after the death of EMT Breonna Taylor in March. She died in her apartment after being shot eight times by cops, with her death sparking ongoing protests.

Don’t shoot innocent people in their apartments, don’t shoot restaurant owners at protests, and maybe the mayor won’t feel the need to fire the police chief and promise a top-to-bottom review of the department. Then your “nobody likes me” feelings won’t be hurt.
My great-uncle, who is a lawyer, says “Everyone hates lawyers...until they need one.” Same goes for the cops.

Cops in Mexico get NO pay, no benefits, no retirement.

The left ALWAYS end up eating their own, and the police try to keep them from doing it. The police, I think, are just going to say “Hell with it!,” and let the games begin. I wouldn’t blame them.
As of 6 pm, 57 DC cops said they would no longer serve on the “response teams”. That’s the squad that goes around to hot spots during the riots.

I imagine that people all over Buffalo are breathing a sigh of relief. If they're supposed to be tackling riots then why were they tackling a 75 year old peacenik?
The national guard cannot even defend themselves in an active war zone. They are just targets for the criminals. The left knows this, we have capitulated and imprisoned soldiers for taking out the trash in combat zones.
All the mayor did was say that there would be a review of the police department, and that was following the department's shooting an innocent paramedic during a no-knock warrant on the wrong address looking for someone they had in custody to begin with and the shooting of a unarmed restaurant owner during a protest. What exactly should the mayor have done? Support shooting innocent people? Vocally support no-knock warrants on the wrong address? Say that the unarmed demonstrator had it coming to him? Maybe if the police department hadn't screwed up so tragically and so incompetently in the last few weeks he wouldn't have had to say anything.
We called it Blue Flu.
