Police in Louisville, Kentucky, walked out on the city's mayor in protest at him 'disrespecting' them as they claimed he 'does not care about them at all'. Video shows officers and detectives from the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) silently streaming out of a room as mayor Greg Fischer prepared to address them ahead of a 12-hour shift. Fraternal Order of Police president Ryan Nichols, who was not present, said the move was an unplanned reaction by officers who said they felt 'completely unsupported and disrespected.' Tensions in the city have been high after the death of EMT Breonna Taylor in March. She died in her apartment after being shot eight times by cops, with her death sparking ongoing protests.

What is SO stupid is that too many Americans dont know that our cops (USA) are THE most honest in the world.
Cops in Mexico get NO pay, no benefits, no retirement. The ONLY way they can earn even ONE peso is by nabbing the scofflaws on the road. The bribe that is paid is called a mordida a "bite."
They HAVE TO DO THAT just to live.
And what about cops in ANY part of Asia, Africa or south of Mexico? They make our American cops look like choir boys. Go live anywhere there for 24 hours....

True, they don’t realize certain things. They don’t think through what they are wishing for.
If we really defunded and did away with police, then what would happen? It is predictable that our big cities would become even bigger hell holes than some are today.
If that ever happened, the private security industry would expand exponentially, as neighborhoods would hire security, including armed security who exercise 2nd amendment rights. If cities and towns didn’t have police, then private citizens would hire private security. It’s a dangerous world, and all but the lunatic leftists and black lives matter agitators know this, and do not want to do away with police forces.
this is your response to people who point out maybe cops shouldn’t murder people who aren’t criminals? Louisville PD murdered an innocent woman because they executed a no-knock warrant at the wrong address.
A lot of this kind of stuff would be avoided if cops would stop wanting to be “tacticool” by executing no-knock warrants.
Police make up reasons to pull you over and find infractions they can fine you for — it’s how municipalities pay cop salaries.
Police do not protect you — when seconds count, the police are minutes away.
Police protect criminals from their victims.
Police viciously go after “vigilantes”.
Police are always looking for a confrontation.
Police park wherever they want.
Police disobey all traffic laws.
Police are rude and threatening.
Police are among the dumbest of people.
I cannot think of any good thing about police.

I’ve never had a problem with a police officer. They have always been respectful towards me. Vigilantes need to be gone after. How would you feel if someone you didn’t know, got in your face and was spitting / yelling / cursing you for doing your job? I think you’d develop an attitude.
Help me here. So if NYC and the rest of the super blue municipalities defund the police and replace them with social workers, why do they need no bail laws when there is no one to set no bail for? In cases of a 311 call for rape in progress, is a therapist dispatched to the scene to help predator and victim work out their “relationship issues”? Will criminal defense attorneys have to learn how to code to stay off the unemployment line?

LOS ANGELES (CNS) - The union representing Los Angeles police officers lashed out at Mayor Eric Garcetti today, objecting to his use of the word “killers’’ while discussing proposed law enforcement funding cuts with a group of black community leaders.
“We’ve sent an emergency request to Chief (Michel) Moore to send the LAPD Crisis Response Team to City Hall because Eric has apparently lost his damn mind,’’ the Los Angeles Police Protective League said in a statement condemning the mayor’s comment.
Unfortunately, that’s what it’s going to take, entire departments quitting and letting them experience true lawlessness.
I bet that even as we speak, many big city policemen/women, are applying for jobs elsewhere. And they especially may look to work in smaller cities and towns which don’t have so many of the big city problems.
Given what’s going on, would you rather be a cop in New York City, or Watertown, New York? Baltimore,Maryland or Cumberland, Maryland? Philadelphia, PA, or Sunbury, PA?
