What is SO stupid is that too many Americans dont know that our cops (USA) are THE most honest in the world.
Cops in Mexico get NO pay, no benefits, no retirement. The ONLY way they can earn even ONE peso is by nabbing the scofflaws on the road. The bribe that is paid is called a mordida a "bite."
They HAVE TO DO THAT just to live.
And what about cops in ANY part of Asia, Africa or south of Mexico? They make our American cops look like choir boys. Go live anywhere there for 24 hours....
Bit NOOOO, our cops are disregarded, abused, loathed, hated and always guilty, no matter what.

MOST cops are to be trusted. But not ALL.

Mexican cops make on average 178,945 pesos/year for an entry level cop or 306,763 pesos/year for a senior cop. They also get an average of 5,724 pesos/year as a bonus. Mexico has problems but it is not THAT bad.
