Racism should be blamed if George Floyd protests cause a spike in coronavirus cases, New York City council member Mark Levine said on Wednesday.

“Let’s be clear about something: if there is a spike in coronavirus cases in the next two weeks, don’t blame the protesters. Blame racism,” Levine, who is the head of the city council’s health committee, wrote on Twitter. “And let’s remember that the police are increasing COVID risk by: using tear gas; herding demonstrators into tight spaces; putting people in crowded jails.”

Did anyone hear the caller in the last hour of Limbaugh's show yesterday who said that a Republican can win in New York state if only the party would run a winnable candidate?

He said that the problem in New York is that the Republicans are democrats, and the Democrats blame everyone else but themselves for their situation.

He said the people in New York are clamoring for leadership that they're not getting from either party. The Republicans are not willing to invest in a strong candidate, the Democrats always blame the Republicans when things go wrong, and the Republicans always take it.

So, here is yet another case where the Democrats in New York refuse to take responsibility for the consequences of their actions. It's "racism" that will cause the next spike in Covid, not their actions to ignore curfews, to allow roving gangs of looters, and to not enforce the same standards they forced onto businesses.

Clever move. The governors' need to blame the extraordinary economic and social damage caused by the lockdowns they imposed on "the virus" hasn't worked very well, so any additional lockdowns they impose will be blamed on "racism". See how this works?
