The New York Times is in disarray after its editorial page published an op-ed by Sen. Tom Cotton (R-AR) that upset its readers and its own staff by calling for using the military to help restore order inside American cities gripped by violence, looting, and crime after the death of George Floyd.
Cottons op-ed sparked outrage from the left, including some who argued the Times was putting black lives in danger. Many subscribers said they were going to cancel their subscription.
The Times tried unsuccessfully to quell the outrage. Its editorial page editor, James Bennet, first added a note to the top of the op-ed explaining why the paper published the op-ed.

Bennet will have to resign and leave...to appease the few remaining subscribers to the Times. Basically, they are admitting it’s a far left-leaning paper with a bias.
We certainly wouldn't want to put any black lives in danger.
It is a snowball effect. First fisa discovery cover up by riots, now prisoner release and riot sponsorship discovery cover up by full blown ISIS style territory and terrorism
Spot on.
They haven’t had ‘control’ over their newsroom for 90yrs.
Very said situation with this dedicated, retired LEO. The memory of his character will fall upon woefully deaf ears.
Can we start with Robespierre this time?
The NY Times hyenas won’t be happy until white cops are lynched in the newspapers offices.
The bending of the knee is the announcement that blacks are the new royalty.
“Many subscribers said they were going to cancel their subscription.”
All 12 of them?
If proper force is arrayed against them, they will scatter like roaches in the light.
Yep, it’s the tale of two black men. One, a career criminal whose life was wrongly taken away from him is going to have at least three funeral services attended by politicians weeping over his golden casket and the other a life-long law enforcement officer whose life was also wrongly taken from him whose death isn’t worthy MSM attention. Since MO is opening back up, his family may be allowed to attend his funeral.
Everything is turned on its head right now. It’s sad and sick.
