The officer used an APPROVED method to subdue him.
He had COVID 19 which is known to cause breathing issues as are the drugs in his body.
This is going to be a very complicated criminal case.
It should be an easier tort case for the family to win damages.

How many complaints did this cop have against him already? Far more than 10. I doubt they were all harassment claims against him.
Yeah, he is big, drugged, resisting and so forth, the not everything that is legal is right and he was enjoying it way too much. You can’t hog tie him? That is not approved and putting a knee to his neck is OK? I have never seen anybody hog tied able to do a damn thing but wiggle. All you gotta do is stay away until they decide what is going to happen to themselves and make it so.
What the cops did can’t be justified to me and neither can the riots.

Actually it was the perps actions of using a counterfeit $20 bill that prompted the actions of law enforcement. Yes, the cops deserve to be prosecuted but Floyd’s rap sheet is indeed relevant and will ultimately play a significant role during the officers trials.

This man was certainly resisting arrest in quite a significant way.
Your beef should be with the people that approve the knee to the neck procedure.
Personally, I think too many things can go wrong with it.
Can’t help you there. Haven’t seen official report to confirm or refute. Even if it is heroin, that is less than half the toxic dose.
