San Francisco (AFP) – Snapchat on Wednesday stopped promoting posts by US President Donald Trump, saying they incite “racial violence.”
“We are not currently promoting the president’s content on Snapchat’s Discover platform,” Snapchat said in response to an AFP inquiry, referencing the youth-focused social network’s section for recommended content.
“We will not amplify voices who incite racial violence and injustice by giving them free promotion on Discover.”

Exactly. The only reason I click on fake news, which isn’t often, is to see what is the basis of the story; ie what did PDT say that the fake news outlet is so enrageous. So I looked at this one, and unless I ran past something without noticing it, this is fake news because it is absolutely baseless.

A social media platform that my fellow Millennials were "over" by the time we graduated college. I'm surprised it's even still in business. But the fact that allows you to exchange images which it then deletes all record of makes it ideal for traffickers in child porn. So as long as there are sexual predators there will be SnapChat.

Each member can pass them along to everyone we know, via FB or e-mail. That might reach as many or more than Twitter. Most of us old folks don’t do Twitter anyway and we would love to make a difference in some way. Buried as “responses” to other posts Twitter deleters couldn’t find the messages as quickly. It could be set up here on FR same as the fund raiser thread. What do you think.
No one uses Snapchat anymore. It is over as a thing with young people. This is a desperate attempt to get cool points and remain relevant.

THIS IS MY PLEA...We need a wonderful Black respectable leader, How about Ben Carson, a retired neurosurgeon, a wonderful Asian leader, How about Francis Chan, a highly respected pastor, or Donghui Zang, a rising community leader, who has spoken out against bad policies and made much progress...For a wonderful Hispanic leader...How about Jovita Carranza, who Trump nominated to be Administrator of the Small Business Administration, On August 1, 2019, and a respected white leader, how about Mike Pence...How about they all stand up together to talk about the issues of lawful order. How looting, rioting, and harming others is not the way to solve anything...but it monstrous, hateful behavior.
I don’t really know Jovita Carranza or Donghui Zang...I just quickly researched someone who could be respected by both political parties....
I could see President Trump inviting all of them to address our nation...

Also, last night 5 of my friends and I got together to pray about all of this.

My friend and I prayed that a flag on loan from the military (which was stolen by looters) would be returned. The very next day that flag was anonymously returned after we prayed.
