His NG troops have probably been activated by the Federal Government. This would make them active duty Title 10 and they fall under the DOD instead of the governor.
Its theater, and thats okay. (smile)
It appears the Florida National Guard has a compliment of 9,600 troops.
“I have a real hard time believing we dont have enough federal cops around DC to maintain order in government areas.”
what federal cops? there aren’t any REAL federal cops; the closest thing are the U.S. Marshals and the FBI and neither organization is equipped or trained to quell insurrection, and DC doesn’t have a big enough national guard to protect itself during a full out insurrection, which is one reason NG troops can be Federalized and then directed where needed, regardless of state of origin or destination ...
“If DC pols and police dont want to police residential neighborhoods then let them burn.”
well, the anarchists are also attacking national monuments and national museums, including our irreplaceable national historic treasures, so apparently you’re also perfectly fine with seeing our entire national capital city burned to the ground, and some of those neighborhoods you want burned down also contain the homes of Congress people, White House officials, and military officials ... really not a good look to our foreign enemies like russia and china, et. al., if our government is so weak it can’t keep our capital city from being burned down by criminals and rabble ...
On Saturday, about 1,000 National Guard from TN will be in DC, according to news stories here.
State to State agreements exist and they can also be federalized and sent to the state.
The mayor lives in San Marco.
Sure.
Muriel Bowwow. Her of the 11:00 PM curfew.
Uh-huh.

On Wednesday, Bowser said that she was looking to challenge the president's ability to call in the National Guard from other states without her approval. [/snip]
