They seem to want to bring up the policeman’s past history, but not this guy’s past history.

The difference - Floyd did crime and then did time. Chauvin has been getting away with crimes for years.

Because Floyd's past history is irrelevant to what this cop did to him. Passing a fake 20 should not get you killed. It doesn't give the cop the right to kneel on Floyd's neck for 8 minutes and slowly kill the guy

OTOH, the cop's past history is quite relevant to how he reacted to this situation. Why was a guy with 18 complaints for excessive force allowed to remain a police officer?
