MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) Fox 9 reports that the Hennepin County Medical Examiners report released Monday ruled the death of George Floyd a homicide.
The updated report states that on May 25, George Floyd experienced a cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by a law enforcement officer(s). Ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is now charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter in connection to Floyds death.
Earlier Monday, the attorneys for the family of George Floyd shared the findings of their separate autopsy, which determined that Floyd died of asphyxia from sustained pressure on his neck and back.
The new Medical Examiners report also notes other significant conditions such as arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; and recent methamphetamine use.
Last week, the Hennepin County Medical Examiners Office released a preliminary report in which it was determined that Floyd likely died from a combination of underlying health conditions, being restrained by police, and any potential intoxicants in his system.
There was reportedly no physical evidence that he died of asphyxia of strangulation.
yeah, to me I don’t see racism. I see a corrupt cop who has a history of complaints against him. a minneapolis cop I might add
Cops have it so easy r.
Get to deal with drugged out 6 ft 6 in
street people passing out fake 20s at the same store .
Fake 20s are a federal offense.
Those sweet people dont tell lies like I am sick etc so they can jump you .
Now youre accusing cops of being on fentanyl and speed on the job? Are you really on the right website?
Get a grip on reality, Bubba. You are the one tying every violent death and every racial incident in the history of the U.S.A. to this single case.
Yeah...that’s a point. Eight minutes is a long time to consider and reconsider the wisdom of your keeping a man pinned under your knee given his obvious distress.
The video and independent pulse check were staged, too.
I am not accusing, simply asking the question. When you are hurt on the job you go through a drug test.
Are you suggesting we do not test the officers?
Do Minneapolis LEO carry a medical bag? Does it include an ambu bag or Narcan after refusing to reposition the dying man on his side?
So
you have no idea but decided to jump to conclusions ,
Cops have it so easy dealing with huge drugged out street cons.
Why in the Age of Wuhan virus would not any one give mouth to mouth to s druggie on the street
You have it so hard Monday morning quarterbacking from your home safe and secure .
“No one is giving mouth to mouth .”
That went away about ten years ago.
We should all ensure that agents of the state are held to account for their actions.
Police need to be very moral men, grounded in the constitution. This officer seems to be neither.
Questionable restraint used on a man already in cuffs (read already restrained). 8 minutes 46 seconds. 2 minutes 53 seconds after unconscious.
How in the world can you watch that video and think it ok?
Isnt Monday morning quarterbacking fun? Especially since you get to act all high and mighty when pontificating.
Was this a split second life or death decision? No.
3 cops stood around while a handcuffed and unconscious citizen was assaulted for many minutes by another dirty cop. Feel free to defend that. I won’t be.
Obviously I havent seen the full autopsy. What I do know is that the deceased had fentanyl intoxication and crystal meth in his system. I am familiar with fentanyl. It is a killer. He obviously was overdosing on fentanyl, which means the drug was stopping his heart. He died of cardiac arrest, which is caused by fentanyl intoxication. The legal issue is whether the officers conduct did anything to contribute to the cardiac arrest. That, my friend, is a medical issue above my pay grade. My major question is this: does the medical examiner believe with 100% certainty that the officers conduct did anything to further his cardiac arrest? The criminal complaint indicated that the medical examiner felt that it was Likely that the police were partly responsible. There is a big difference between the conduct of the officers likely contributing to a death and definitely contributing to a death.
As to Michael Baden ME, his autopsy has no credibility. This guy was claiming that Jeffrey Epstein was murdered. I trust the local ME a lot more than a hired gun
The paid autopsy is BS.
So much for “we have to wait for the autopsy”. Nice goal post moving there.
Arent you a just self righteous poster in your nice home all safe and secure .
The cops that deal with drugged out 6 6 ex cons should know it all and carry every supply in their car .
They should catch Wuhan virus for a lying con man .
how the hell would they know what drug he is on but they probably know by all the lovely street people that you expect them to keep out of your neighborhood .
Get a grip all knowing one.
Cops are not mind readers .
These cops deal with alot of ugly people like this guy that comfy
suburbanites dont want to meet at the gas station .
And it seems the local ME has found homicide. Had floyd died of a drug overdose the finding would certainly not be homicide.
I trust the local ME a lot more than a hired gun.

The local ME does not work for free either, as I understand.
Meanwhile, I am still waiting for a more complete story. I hope we will get it.
Are you saying this man deserved to die in police custody on that day?
First they came for the communists... You would think after how Trump supporters have been assaulted by federal police that all conservatives would think twice before supporting dirty cops. Apparently, not.
Are you suggesting we do not test the officers?
= = =
It seems the cop union manages to stop drug testing of officers.
Like for steroids, just for one example.
Ummm. Forensic pathology results which took a week or so indicate several physiological conditions, plus uppers in his system and officer “Smith” is supposed to know this while conducting an arrest? Okay.
Of course, I am not suggesting that the cops did nothing wrong, but what they did or didn’t do will be much more detailed than what a video clip currently circulating depicts.
For the record, I clearly hold an objective position and refused to rush to judgement regarding most of these or similar incidents. Cops who screw up are on the hook in my book. Private persons the same.
