Probably hated his job and was looking forward to retiring soon. Most likely the verbal abuse from the bystanders pushed him over the edge. Assaulting his unconscious prisoner as he did on camera was totally irrational.

Anyone can file a complaint against a cop. He had 18 in 19 years. Most were thrown out and one ended up being a formal reprimand in his file. He was actually commended once! And if what you’re saying is true, why didn’t the police chief fire him or the DA ever charge him with an offense? Don’t believe everything the media says and then pretend you’re informed.
