MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) – Fox 9 reports that the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s report released Monday ruled the death of George Floyd a homicide.
The updated report states that on May 25, George Floyd experienced a cardiopulmonary arrest while being restrained by a law enforcement officer(s). Ex-Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin is now charged with third-degree murder and manslaughter in connection to Floyd’s death.
Earlier Monday, the attorneys for the family of George Floyd shared the findings of their separate autopsy, which determined that Floyd died of “asphyxia from sustained pressure” on his neck and back.
The new Medical Examiner’s report also notes other significant conditions such as arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; and recent methamphetamine use.
Last week, the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office released a preliminary report in which it was determined that Floyd likely died from a combination of underlying health conditions, being restrained by police, and any potential intoxicants in his system.
There was reportedly no physical evidence that he died of asphyxia of strangulation.
Autopsy #1: cardiopulmonary arrest aggravated by arteriosclerotic and hypertensive heart disease; fentanyl intoxication; and recent methamphetamine use.
Autopsy #2: asphyxia from sustained pressure on his neck and back.

Drug tests on the four cops - did they check for drugs in their system? When the kneeling cop was arrested, surely they gave him a urinalysis. Because there has to be a reason those four cops acted so dumba$$ stupid. To me, that says they were numbed out and zoned out on something, even something legal, that made them numb to what was happening to George. To do something so incomprehensible, the cops had to be whacked out to a great degree.

You don’t seem to think too much of Freepers — why are you even raising the possibility that we would want him to die just for using drugs? There MAY be a legitimate issue whether he would have died if he did not have drugs in his body of which the cops were unaware.

Even if the cop did not contribute to his death directly, the person was in police custody and under their care and they were negligent in administering necessary care to keep him alive. That is negligent homicide in my book.

I just did a little research about Georgy Porgy and was astonished to learn that he committed an armed robbery in 2007 in Houston and was sentenced to 5 years in prison in 2009!
So he was an ex-con and drug abuser who was passing counterfeit bills. Funny that nobody ever mentions that!
Homicide. And this from the autopsy most on the police side.
What we all witnessed was agents of the state, using questionable restraints on a man whom had already been restrained since first contact, continuing those restraints after an off duty first responder begged for a pulse check, continuing after a pulse check was finally done and no pulse found, in front of American citizens with cameras rolling.

That is not what the medical examiner report states. Once again, you are being dishonest.
Using your method of judging guilt or innocence based on the info available now, I’d say that George Floyd shouldn’t have been trying to pass counterfeit money while under the influence of fentanyl and amphetamines, especially since he was possibly on probation following his release from prison in 2014 after serving 5 years for armed robbery.
Oh, and Derek Chauvin is probably guilty of negligent homicide for incorrectly using an approved method of restraining a prisoner which resulted in the prisoner’s death.
And? What part of being an ex criminal gives the police the right to do what was done?

The paid autopsy is BS.
They could have started CPR before the medics arrived. Curious to hear the officers explain why that didn’t happen.
