Even if the cop did not contribute to his death directly, the person was in police custody and under their care and they were negligent in administering necessary care to keep him alive. That is negligent homicide in my book.
They could have started CPR before the medics arrived. Curious to hear the officers explain why that didn’t happen.

You appear to be changing your tune slightly since posting this on the Rush thread this afternoon:
“Well, Rush screwed up claiming Floyd was murdered. He just fed the fire. Floyd wasnt murdered.”
I can accept negligence....I can see firing these jerks....I can see some charges against them....but I refuse to join the leftist rat brigade....
From the Rush thread you also said:
“Actually, it is in the police manual, so who are you claiming disavows the technique?”
Now you’re calling it “negligent homicide.” Kind of seems like you’re doing a 180.
It is in fact 3rd degree homicide.
The phrase used in the Minnesota Statute, is “depraved indifference.”
See, the kneecap ex-cop, was told (on video) by another poliiceman helping to hold the victim’s legs, that the victim
DID
NOT
HAVE
A
PULSE
Hear that? Not a BLM member two weeks later, not Geraldo seeking ratings, but a fellow policeman involved in the arrest and restraining the guy.
Mr. Kneecap doesn’t check for a pulse
He doesn’t perform CPR.
He keeps his knee on the guy’s neck for two more minutes.
That’s a cop — a first responder — a 19 year veteran — with CPR training — not doing CPR on a prisoner in his care, after another policeman tells him on the spot, in real time, the guy has no pulse.
That’s “depraved indifference.”
And Perry Mason won’t be able to save him.
