Independent autopsy finds George Floyd's death 'was homicide caused by asphyxia'

An independent autopsy concluded George Floyd died of asphyxia due to neck and back compression that led to a lack of blood flow to the brain.

Floyd died last Monday after a Minneapolis police officer restrained him by pushing his knee on his neck until he was unconscious.

I heard a criminal defense attorney from Minneapolis mention that the Hennepin county autopsy report was more really odd and nonsensical. He mentioned that he has likely reviewed 500 reports from the same office and they are always clear and concise.
