I believe it "came about" by the Democrat party and its members, refusing to recognize the people's vote for who should lead us in the 2016 election. All other elected POTUS' were accepted, maybe not gleefully; but, the vote was accepted.

With Trump, no acceptance. These riots are just the culmination of all of the efforts prior to this, aimed at getting rid of Trump.

When he is re-elected, they are going to go nuts again.
