This CNBC article is a good example of how the media engineers a false narrative when they want to impugn Trump without misstating a fact. Trump’s quote refers to arresting “thugs”. He does not use the word protest or protesters in his quote because “thugs” implies the riots and rioters he is referring to and not legitimate protesters with picket signs. The reporter than paraphrases throughout the article using the word protest and protesters to make it appear that Trump wants to come down hard on legitimate protesters. Not once does he use the word rioters.

They've gathered because they're unhappy with their life and believe it's anything or any-ones fault this is so. Race will always be their scapegoat as will the police for stopping, arresting and imprisoning the criminals among them.
They are so quick to misjudge situations because most don't hold a mentality for any depth of critical thinking and instead go entirely by how they feel when they see anything .....Of course all communities have a share in that but it reveals itself consistently within the colored communities.

Well, he was elected President of the United States who has authority over and appoints the Attorney General. Take a civic class sometime and learn how the government operates.

The 1st Marine Division and 7th Infantry Division were sent to curtail the 1992 Los Angeles riots.

(A) restore public order and enforce the laws of the United States when, as a result of a natural disaster, epidemic, or other serious public health emergency, terrorist attack or incident, or other condition in any State or possession of the United States, the President determines that–
(i) domestic violence has occurred to such an extent that the constituted authorities of the State or possession are incapable of maintaining public order; and
(ii) such violence results in a condition described in paragraph (2); or
(B) suppress, in a State, any insurrection, domestic violence, unlawful combination, or conspiracy if such insurrection, violation, combination, or conspiracy results in a condition described in paragraph (2).
