Chaos has continued to unfold in cities across America where over 50 Secret Service agents were injured in clashes with protesters in Washington DC, cops charged into demonstrators in New York City, and lootings and store raids continued to unfold in California, Philadelphia and Boston. Tens of thousands of people gathered as the National Guard was deployed to over half the states in the country on Sunday for protests that have seen 4,100 people get arrested this weekend alone. But even the threat of heavy officer presence didnt deter protesters in Philadelphia from hurling rocks and Molotov cocktails at police, crowds to raid stores including Coach and Chanel in New York and San Francisco, and fires being ignited mere feet from the White House. Late Sunday in Washington D.C. a fire was set ablaze in the historic St. John's Episcopal Church and Lafayette Park in front of the White House.

50-60 From various Federale police agencies. DM is worthy but inaccurate all the time.
Exuberant, hmmmm? This is actually an insurrection, and when it’s over, whether it’s put down or it just burns out on its own, the people who instigated it should get hemp neckties in public, with it being broadcast round the world on the Tee Vee.
The Mayors and Governors in these States which are rioting need to be given the chance to get control. If they fail the Feds can and should move in.
Should Trump move to soon he will be accused of usurping then authority of the local officials. The media will then joyfully accuse him of being a dictator.
Better to allow the liberal morons be exposed for their ineptness and their hateful anti America stance.
Actually, any time would be fine. This is today's Whiskey Rebellion, which George Washington put down, thus cementing the legitimacy of the new Constitutional government. But it's far worse than the historical analogy. Those people were simply instigating a revolt against a tax on something they used to kill pathogens in their drinking water, among other things. These people want to bring down America.
The libtards will do whatever they do. Right now they’re accusing him of hiding. Trump campaigned as a strong martial President and should probably show it sooner rather than later.
Listen, I personally agree with you and would love to watch these criminal bastards be machine gunned on live TV (seriously). I was speaking to the political consequences of the WH moving to soon. Perhaps it is worth the risk.
Personally I would have done it already but then it is one of many reasons I could never run for public office.
I think George was the only president to lead an action against a foreign or domestic enemy in history. I wish he were back. Find the enemy, engage, win.
“Law enforcement has been focused in recent years on foreign-inspired terror in the U.S., not antifa and homegrown anarchists.”
They’ve been focused on White gun owners for years.
I find it especially heart-warming they chose to burn down an historical church. Speaks volumes don’t it?
Don’t the Secret Service have flame throwers to use for dispersing violent insurrectionists?
I heard Fauci predicting that St John's churcb would burn. He also predicted it would not burn.
Hmmmm....sounds like this guy was aware of what was being planned....why werent the feds aware, and prepared?
So much for having it all (info/evidence).
:-(
When someone speaks of voting and elections, you're seeing hope that there's still a political solution. (BTW, The Left isn't seeking one.) Have no doubt, the current dumpster fire has many 'making a list, and checking it twice.' Just in case there's not a political solution.
Right now, there's no political consensus for the proposition that if you are peaceful, you're a protestor and it's a political act; if you aren't peaceful, it's a riot, a crime, and should be forcefully put down.
Some hoped that Bernie would win the RAT nomination so we would have a stark choice about the future. It appears we will, but not in the way we imagined. I do not know how it will turn out.
If people want a solution short of the bullet box, they'll have to vote for one. And I have to tell you...obviously Mayors like DeBlasio haven't covered themselves in glory, gutless bastards they are...but I look at cities like Atlanta and Seattle with female mayors and chiefs of police, and I can't see anything good coming from there. The problem isn't that we 'have to care for each other.'
It's a helluva deal. This election may well answer that question.
White House is not far from my office. Guess we’ll be working at home a little longer than they planned!
That is nonsense. People dont re-elect a President because the country burns down in chaos. The Dems will blame him for it.
“””I wish Trump would at least come out and say something. I realize hes not ignoring the situation and is working behind the scenes with the DOJ, but we need to hear from him. Not just tweets.”””
Trump has made several speeches.
Trump’s basic point is that the Governors and the Mayors need to step up to the plate and take control of their states and cities. The Federal Govt will be there to back them up if need be.
Keep in mind that the rioting, looting, vandalism, and anarchy is happening in Democrat run states and cities. It is the Democrats problem to control. If they need help from the Feds all they have to do is call.
Trump used the same playbook with corona virus. He left it up to the states to control the virus and the Feds would provide whatever backup they needed.
The anarchy we are seeing is being caused by incompetent Democrat leaders in the states and cities.

I totally agree.
