WASHINGTON The National World War II Memorial was among the landmarks in the nation's capital that were vandalized amid weekend protests.
In the wake of the death of African American George Floyd, the vandals asked in graffiti on the outside of the memorial's central fountain whether black veterans count. The Friends of the National World War II Memorial responded to the question affirmatively on Twitter, adding that the memorial honors and remembers the one million black veterans who served.

They made an effort to get to the Alamo last night. They were turned away by cops and volunteers (how appropriate!), thankfully.
Plus the historic St. John's Church across from the the White House was set on fire, and seemed to burn an awfully long time, from what I saw on TV. (Fire was extinguished... supposedly mostly the basement was damaged)
Kevin Cork (Fox News) reported about two hours ago: "A group of young males arrived in the Lafayette Park area very late... all armed with hammers. They set fires *everywhere*, and smashed ALL the shop windows along a 4-block route. You got the feeling it was organized/coordinated."
Antifa!
Support for black people is plunging as a result of all these rivals. I know it is only a small minority of evil people rioting, spurred on by Antifa. But the optics are such that it looks like black people everywhere are criminals and thugs. It is not a good look to the rest of America who are watching because everybody is home on Covid lock down.
