Shocking new surveillance video appears to show George Floyd in a violent struggle with Minneapolis police before his death.
Floyd can't be seen in the footage, but one cop can be seen leaning through the back door and visibly struggling with him.
The clip was posted by activist Shaun King, who wrote: 'BREAKING: Just got this new video. It’s all coming together. Police were in the car beating the sh** out of George Floyd. One stands watch, while the others attacked him.'
Later, white officer Derek Chauvin was captured on video by a bystander kneeling on Floyd's neck as he begged for air.
Floyd, 46, fell unconscious and died, and Chauvin, 44, has since been charged with third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter, which are filed in cases of unintentional death.
Chauvin also was accused of ignoring another officer who expressed concerns about Floyd, a black man, as he lay handcuffed on the ground.

He was taken to the ground for a reason.
I read that the autopsy said he didn’t die from asphyxiation. Did it mention any bruising or marks on him?
He violently resisted arrest. That explains why the police were aggressive. However, folks only want to see one side of the entire incident.
Maybe the toxicology report will show that Saint George was also on PCP just like Rodney.

Died from underlying medical condition and drugs in his system and not from asphyxiation.
Police used an approved restraint position.

The cops struggled to put George in the police car.
They took him out, almost certainly, because they could not secure him in the car.
Can't transport a suspect unsecured.
So, now, because George fought the police, rather vigorously, this is being characterized as cops beating George inside the police car.

Increasingly it just looks like the goal is for police to declare that black people cannot be confronted, detained, or arrested. They have diplomatic immunity, and they can do whatever they please to anyone without police interference.

So much for the “Why did they even have him on the ground he wasn’t resisting” crowd. Also explains why they didn’t actually believe “I can’t breathe” stuff. I mean, you just got done fighting (at 6’7”) in the back of a cop car.
