5 EYEWITNESS NEWS has learned from a source that the members of the 82nd Airborne Division, based at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, have been put on standby to deploy in Minnesota.
The soldiers have been told to not bring their weapons with them on this potential mission. It remains unclear when they would be ordered into the air, but this standby order makes them available to come in on an immediate basis.
Notice the front line in the photo above (file photo from the article). Two of the paratroopers are not like the other two. Can't quite put my finger on it.
Also odd -- why are the two big paratroopers carrying bottles of wine?
The designation of antifa as a terrorist organization will change this deployment to armed.
If this regular Army, they are not permitted to operate on American soil. If National Guard, a okay.

Antifa has not yet been declared a terrorist org. President Trump announced they WILL be declared as such. But I didn’t see any indication of when that will happen.

Not exactly. They are not allowed to engage in law enforcement operations under the posse comitatus act. They are authorized to operate and keep the peace in times of insurrection. And if some armed force were to come onto American soil, they could certainly defend their nation.
If Trump invokes the Insurrection Act, they can be used internally.

Look closer.
It doesn't override the Constitution. Article IV, Section 4: "... and shall protect each of them against invasion; and on application of the legislature, or of the executive (when the legislature cannot be convened) against domestic violence." The governor is not going to ask for them and the legislature is not in session.
