US President Donald Trump has said he will postpone this year's G7 summit and invite leaders of other countries to participate in the talks.
"I don't feel that... it properly represents what's going on in the world. It's a very outdated group of countries," Mr Trump said on Saturday.
The G7 group, which the US hosts this year, includes Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan and the UK.
The president said Russia, South Korea, Australia and India should be invited.
Speaking to reporters on board the presidential plane Air Force One, Mr Trump said that he was delaying the summit - which was scheduled to take place later in June - until September.

LoL
Russia is essentially China’s puppet these days.
A lot of good bringing them in will do.
Oz should definitely be part of the G group.
Invite Taiwan instead of Russia, as well as India.
I wonder if the G7 will reemerge as the G10.
Trump needs to reorganize this...should be FoUS (Friends of the US)...to include Taiwan, Japan, South Korea, Australia, the UK, Brazil, and maybe Mexico. The EU can run it’s own FoEU (just EU members, Canada, and China).
How many nuclear missiles does Taiwan have?
I would leave Canada out of this league of important countries, I live here and the place is a joke. They blacklist the best people they have and let mediocre people run everything. That’s why it’s a joke. It doesn’t even defend its own borders.
Germany wants out - they want to run the EU show. Big mistake. We know Germany’s track record and it ‘ain’t good’...
Germany doesn’t want to come - good, freeze ‘em out. Invite the rest of Europe.
Both President Trump and Macron said Russia should be invited to the G-7 next year. They should have never been outed.
Russia China's puppet?? I don't think so.
Look, China and Russia have aligned. There’s nothing I can
do about it, and as for Russia being China’s puppet, do
either of you think Russia can dictate to China?
China is driving the bus, and Russia got on board.
As for the G-8 idea, I’d have to differ with ANYONE
suggesting it was a good idea.
Isn’t it supposed to be an economic summit? Wasn’t Russia
just going at Saudi Arabia destabilizing the oil industry?
That had a very negative impact on our oil industry.
At this time, I don’t trust Russia. I’ve advocated giving
it better trade, but look at the situation.
China appears to think it can best the U. S. right now.
It is challenging our ships in international waters. It’s
headed toward war with us, and Russia has mouthed off to
the point that I don’t trust it.
It’s inclusion in the G-8 would allow it to disrupt.
Let’s review for a moment how trade has worked to bring
these two peckerhead nations closer to us. China is
signaling war, and Russia can only come up with things
only a wife would say about her errant husband.
Then why reschedule? Why not leave the G-7 if it's outdated and let the G-6 have their meeting whenever and however they want?
Why not as the G6?
Trump's been pretty clear he doesn't think they should have been tossed out at all.
Russia was removed by the seven members in 2014, long before the "fake Russian collusion nonsense" and the "other garbage" was their invasion of the Crimea.
How many nuclear missiles does Taiwan have, you ask. Its physicists have been working the nuclear problem about the same number of years that Israeli scientists have. Israel has never admitted it has nuclear weapons. Taiwan simply clams-up. What would YOU bet that Taiwan is nuke-free?
