WHY did Flynn then plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit? If someone wants to say “because of his son” then please explain exactly how his son was involved in this.

Remember when the USA had generals with nicknames like “Blood and Guts” and “Stonewall?” Would they have exposed their President and rolled-over and disgraced themselves if confronted by a few perfumed, smarmy FBI apparatchik like Strzok or McCabe?

Maybe because he didn’t have millions of dollars to fight them forever.

Plus, I believe his lawyers are part of the coup.

I think they all thought President Trump would pardon Flynn which would enable them to say the pardon was to cover up Russian collusion, thus switching blame.

President Trump did not fall for the trap.

And then the wonderful Sidney Powell showed up and kicked some heads in.

That’s THEIR talking point.

Valerie Jarrett on WSJ repeated that BS every time she was asked a pointed question.

I hope you are never placed in a position where corrupt federal agents are coming after you with their unlimited resources. It is totally irrelevant as to a target’s guilt or innocence once they’ve decided to get you. And that includes destroying your family.

There was crime and collusion all right. The Obama regime, deep state apparatchiks, the Democrats in Congress and the main stream media all colluded and conspired to overthrow a legitimately elected President and anyone associated with him.

It's so easy isn't it, when you're an observer after the fact. It's a little different when you're in it, and agencies like the FBI, agencies you might once have respected, suddenly are trying to destroy you.

How perverted is the "justice" system when your own council, it turns out, is in on the conspiracy to destroy you too. When every agency of government has been corrupted, how do you "fight" it? Flynn was betrayed by his own country by the corrupt agencies within it. I don't think you can even begin to imagine how soul wrenching that must feel to know the country you fought for, the country you defended, has been corrupted to its very core, and the laws which should defend you are being twisted up and perverted for political purposes to destroy you.

Flynn and his son were a bit caught up with Turkey - RUSSIA INVESTIGATION Mueller gives new details on Flynn's secretive work for Turkey
Under Mueller who knows what was true but as others have pointed out when the FIBs want you and can threaten years of litigation with jail time a priority its not unreasonable to cave and try to cut your best deal. IMHO.

WHY did Flynn then plead guilty to a crime he didn’t commit?

Timeline of Events:

A timeline of the events that led to the national-security adviser’s resignation

I believe what happened was this:

It was not illegal for Flynn to call Kislyak.

However, for some reason when asked about the call(s) Flynn panicked; likely because when asked he wasn't sure it was legal or illegal.

That was his mistake. Instead of just admitting he made the call he panicked and denied making the call.

The lie became worse than the original call.

What does guilt or innocence and Flynn’s son have anything to do with the obamanation attacking anyone who is a threat to them.

We already know Mueller would send innocent men to jail to protect whitey bulger

First, answer how Arthur Anderson was destroyed by the United States government for a crime that was made up? How did that happen?

Second, show me the original 302 report for his interview, not the one altered by Peter Strozk. These conversations with Kislyak don’t include the word “sanction”.

DOJ altered evidence against Carter Page, they are the liars. Why did they do that?

FBI was closing the case against Flynn because of no derogatory information, meaning he was innocent, and even if he did lie, it did not cross the threshold of materiality, since there was no valid investigation, as the FBI admitted, they were fishing.

The FBI has violated ethics, and has shown severe bias against Flynn, so it is difficult to take their word.

Don't smarmily ask for others to do your work for you -- dig the answers out for your lazy self!

Apparently you are not familiar with out of control prosecutors draining the life savings of a wrongly accused court victim. And threatening to go after his son/family on foreign consulting charges? Do you have any idea of how much that costs? Prosecutors make threats and deals all the time, and deferred prosecutions (i.e., plead guilty, and after time and maybe a fine, the charge will be withdrawn/erased).
