Minnesota Governor Blames White Supremacist Groups And Drug Cartels For Riots

Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz says he suspects white supremacist groups and drug cartels are carrying out some of the violence in Minneapolis, but cannot confirm it at this time.

Walz said the widespread riots across the country appear to be part of a coordinated effort by professionals.

“We’re seeing evidence of some pretty sophisticated attempts to cause problems,” the governor said.

Harrington said that while they have gotten reports of drug cartels “redirecting their sources to restore their drug markets” in the area amid the unrest, but that is a “secondary or tertiary concern as we’re trying to deal with right now life and death situations on the street.”

KARE 11 Investigates: Records show arrests so far are mostly in-state

“I think our best estimate of what we heard are about 20 percent are Minnesotans, and 80 percent are outside,” Gov. Tim Walz said during a Saturday morning press conference.

But publicly available data does not support those claims, KARE 11 Investigates has found.

KARE 11 found that of 36 cases, about 86 percent of those arrested listed Minnesota as their address.

Requests have been made to Mayor Frey’s offices for the data they used to arrive at the conclusions about who was responsible for the destruction, but they have not yet responded.

The data also does not confirm whether white supremacists are behind some of the rioting and looting, as Public Safety Commissioner John Harrington suggested during the Saturday morning press conference.

“As we’ve begun making arrests, we’ve begun analyzing the data of who we’ve arrested,” Harrington said, adding that his agency is attempting to do contact tracing. “Who are they associated with? What platforms are they advocating for? And we have seen things like white supremacist organizers.”

Of those arrested from out of state, only one had a Facebook page who has clearly identifiable support of white supremacy.

The only "white supremacists" I see and hear in all this mess are a bunch of Karens of both sexes bemoaning their own "white privilege", out there protesting against police brutality with "da brudders" to make them feel better. Of course, being good sheep and wearing their Coronavirus masks, nobody can recognize their faces.

Isn't it "feelings" that all the good white liberals are about? These are the people that tell kids in school that "1 plus 1 is 3 if that's what you feel", then complain because most of the good technical jobs go offshore or are taken by foreigners who come here on visas.
