The dude was 6’7” and on something and a knee to the back of the neck like it or not is part of MN police training.

The police action wasn’t OK. It turns out that Floyd and Chauvin worked security at the same club.

Did Chauvin know something we do not? Was Floyd drunk? Based on how he walked during the video, maybe.

Why did the district attorney cancel the new conference yesterday when there was supposedly new information?

They released the 911 call. Something smells.

Nobody is saying the officer isn’t responsible for Floyd’s death as he was in his care. But most understand this officer also didn’t repond to this incident with the idea he was going to murder someone either. Which is also a desperate attempt to paint the criminal, under arrest, as innocent of the situation he found himself in.

You are assuming that he died because of the knee to the neck. We don’t know if that is the case. We also don’t know what precipitated 3 cops holding him down. Conveniently our watchdog media has not found any video showing WHY the 3 officers pinned him to the ground. Did they think he was on PCP? That he might hurt himself or others even while handcuffed?
Obviously kneeling on the neck was excessive. My gut is that the officer did it not out of spite but as a way to pin the guy down while at the same time being in a position to be able to watch the crowd that was starting to gather In other words as a safety precaution for himself and the other officers. Not saying he was right. But based on his demeanor, I believe that was his motive.
Until we see an autopsy and more video we should withhold judgment. I am open minded.

Bad policing?

You blame the death of Floyd and the subsequent rioting on bad policing?

I blame the citizens of Minneapolistan. They elected democrats. They deserve the government they elected and all the after effects that naturally result from such stupidity.

Catch and Release. This liberal policy not only applied to career thug Floyd, but to career thug Chauvin. The cop who had 18 previous complaints against him.
