Authorities dashed hopes that an arrest had been made over the [death of George Floyd]
.. Prosecutors have warned there is "evidence that does not support criminal charges....

Lying about what? The mayor has already declared the cop guilty of murder.
In Minneapolis? They should be taking Vitamin D supplements.
Worse, there is absolutely no police procedure for placing your full body weight on a subdued suspect that is already flat on the ground and cannot raise himself to properly breathe... let alone do it for 6 minutes. This is murder.
I know... to some, the dead guy is some dude they don't know or care about. But what if that were their son being choked to death in that fashion. I bet all the 'must have had a reason' folks would change their tune.
What we all saw is revolting to a sensible society.
Obviously, to prove someone guilty of murder or manslaughter, you must prove that that individual caused the death of the victim.
I was involved in an OSHA investigation where a guy was obviously electrocuted while working on an energized electrical panel. It was as obvious as it could be. Except the guy died of a natural heart attack. Im suspecting something similar here.
You said to wait for the facts but then you didn’t hesitate to call the victim a crack addict or drug addict or something else. I didn’t see you waiting for a blood test or an autopsy report before you rush that out to defend the act of Murder by four cops.
I do in fact hear the weasel words (oh, but he had drugs in his system therefore he was more susceptible blah blah)...but...if the thug hadn't been kneeling on his neck for 9 minutes straight, then those susceptibilities wouldn't have been triggered right then.
I'm thinking English Common Law here from which much of our jurisprudence descends; you know, like the driver in the getaway car being liable for murder if the gunman in a bank robbery shoots someone, that kind of thing.
It's not the same situation but the same "where does the blame really lie" kind of thinking.
Todd Herman mentioned on his show (KTTH770) that they were both bouncers at El Rancho Nuevo in Mpls. Not sure why a Mexican restaurant would need bouncers but he mentioned that Floyd worked there for 17 years. Theres still another hour on his show for him to give some source for this.
If that's the case, then BLM will own the city and bankrupt it, and therefore (deep pockets) the state.
I am maybe more logical than you.
I wait for ALL the facts to come in.
Then I determine if I think the cop should hang and if I should go burn down the town.
But if knee jerk reactions work for you then stick with what you know.
Thank you I am just trying to show the issues about training and use of a particular technique. I dod internal affairs part time when managers needed to be investigated and I realize as well as anyone you get all the facts you can first. Several times i had to force a through investigation when my bosses knew the person was already guilty.
Agreed. Some departments teach control by knee between the shouder blades and one officer on each leg. Having the suspect cuffed makes it that much easier. A tug up on cuffs in the back affects the shoulders and gets attention.
but it is Trump’s fault. /s
what we all saw is a small portion of a video and nothing that lead up to it; go on tell your brothers and sisters to loot and burn. We don’t care.
Everywhere ya’ll live on this globe is nothing but violence and issues with police,
But unless they find some pretext to hang these four (like happens to civilians all the time when they offend some pettifogging official, so sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander), it won't matter.
He died on camera while begging that he couldn't breathe, died calling for his mother who had been dead a year, and with multiple bystanders calling out "Stop, you're killing him" and pressure on the neck continuing for 2 1/2 minutes after he emptied his bladder and bowels. Brain death takes four minutes. And with a smug shit-eating bullying stuporous grin on his face as the guy dies, no evidence of tousled hair or clothes, no record of needing or trying a night stick, taser, or gun, hence you will never convince a jury that they needed to hold him down like that once he was already handcuffed and on the ground.
You will never get a jury to like him unless you exclude that video: and if you do, public opinion will irrevocably harden beyond repair against the police and the entire city.
Give it a rest, bootlicker.
I am certainly no bootlicker. It is sad that you have no intellectual curiosity whatsoever and merely go along with what your masters tell you.
If you're in a hand to hand struggle with someone, you can tell when they go limp.
And people were shouting at him "Stop you're killing him" (approximately) and begging him to get off the guy's neck and take a pulse.
That's specific enough intent for me.
Particularly as, if the man was handcuffed, then they are legally responsible for his safety at that point. Custody, therefore Custodian.
Itchy trigger finger there Whiskers?
For my part, I am not gleeful about any of this, notwithstanding your stupid, unsupported and gratuitous remark.
But, I am smart enough to know that Mr. Thug might have earned hisself being pinned down, and that the medical examiner will be checked and re-checked and checked again and when it is determined that Mr. Thug died of something unrelated to his being pinned (he did die hours later, right?) you and a lot of others will look like the idiots you are.
I don't have hate. I do loathe injustice.
Since they're police, they get the due process which the Constitution used to guarantee to all citizens, with every deference to even the most far-fetched theory of doubt.
IF they were not government officials, the existing videos alone would have been enough to put them behind bars without bail, facing murder one.
