There was at least one State where stores like Walmart couldn’t sell certain items. I dont remember the gist of it but Govt deemed the items to be nonessential. So Walmart had to block the areas off.

So, in theory, the same could be done to the jeweler.

But at least he is being creative trying to find a solution.

Our Walmart was fully open during the last few months.

Yes and actually, I’m miffed 5at Wal-Mart gets to open the entire store here, be crowded with people, allegedly dangerous!, all because they have food on one end.

But stores selling those same items, who DONT have food, have to stay shut here in MD. Kohl’s, any real dept store. No food, no open. Food, open the whole store!

Part of it was also shuttered businesses saying it was unfair they couldn’t sell gardening supplies or dresses but Walmart could.

I’m pretty sure that was Vermont. You couldn’t sell stuff for your garden “because growing your own food wasn’t “essential”.
