MINNEAPOLIS (WCCO) — The FBI has been called to investigate after a man died Monday night in south Minneapolis after an encounter with police.
In a statement early Tuesday, police described what happened as a medical incident. However, a video posted on social media shows an officer kneeing a man’s neck to the ground for several minutes. Before he goes unconscious, the man, who is black, repeatedly tells officers he can’t breathe.
At a press conference Tuesday morning, Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey alluded to the graphic footage, saying: “I believe what I saw, and what I saw was wrong at every level.”

Some cops are just on a power trip.
I agree. However, why do the “so called” good cops do nothing? This guy should have been stopped by the other two. Was the murdering cop even arrested while on the seen? He should have been. I would like to remind everyone of that nurse in Salt Lake City a few years ago. The cops wanted a blood draw on an unconscious victim. The cops had been involved in a high speed chase, and the person they were chasing ran into this truck driver. The truck driver was taken to the hospital. When the nurse said she couldn’t do the blood draw because she would either need a warrant for his arrest, or he was actually under arrest, or his agreement to the blood draw, which was impossible. The police officer grabbed her around her waist and drug her outside and cuffed her. 4 other armed men were standing right there and let this happen.
This blue line crap needs to stop. To me, it looks more like a gang symbol. They took our beautiful flag, and changed the colors to black and gray with an ugly blue line. They are flat out telling us, they are not respecting us, but their own. Wake up people.
Good grief. A whole lot of people need to go to jail over this, and that includes the other two cops who stood by and did nothing.
Also, for all police officers, their qualified immunity needs to go bye bye. Maybe, if a few of them lost everything for not honoring their oath, they would quickly improve.

Prosecute that officer and at a minimum fire everyone present with prejudice, no rehire, pensions denied. They clearly didn’t care if the guy died, and he did.

If more people understood the inner workings of firearms, they would realize how very dangerous it is to point a loaded firearm at anything..... finger on trigger or not.
