Biden is a candidate in 50 States to have their State Legislatures appoint Electors who will vote for him in December.

If he is no longer a candidate, State Legislatures who favor replacing the President will appoint Electors who will vote for someone else.

If Biden is elected it doesn’t really matter what his condition. He is a generic Democrat and will rule in front of a politburo that will set his policies and methods. I am starting to think that any Democrat in the Presidency, at least from among those who are prominent now, will be the same.
