“The facts of the case haven’t been tried yet, you don’t know what the facts are, and you are giving them no presumption of innocence.”

No one is under any obligation to give anyone a presumption of innocence. And no one does - if all the posts that cited this person or that person of being guilty of this or that were removed from FR, 95 percent of the content here would be gone. Just be mostly some cat videos and a few gardening hints that would remain.

So, it’s completely dishonest to claim “people don’t judge! They can’t”. That’s total horsehockey - sorry. Again, this is just the reality of how things are, facts rule the day.

Since I’m one of the very few here who is informed on the facts, I will make the best judgement. While I have some fun, kidding and getting a goat now & then, everything I cite as specific fact is verified, no emotion involved.
e.g. it’s a fact the older defendant has a history of mental illness and was under treatment. That’s just a matter of record.

I speculate there may be retardation also, but that’s just a personal observation based on his words/actions. I can also speculate he might raise his mental issues in his defense - “temporary insanity” pleas don’t usually work, but it could show a circumstance limiting his mental/moral abilities to process things.

At any rate, possessing such a fact (re:his mental health problems) that most are not aware of hereabout is just one example of why I’m so well qualified to render judgement. Unlike many others, I simply am informed.

Thanks, sorry I made you have to go to Google Translate. But everybody has to find their place in life - spending your days pouring through posts looking for typos isn’t exactly the most intellectual pursuit in life, but as long as you’ve reached your top potential - well, more power to ya!

Speaking of spelling, Louie...

You “pore” through posts.

Not “pour.”

By the way...

From memory - the original prosecutors declined to prosecute.

Should they be charged with crimes and/or disbarred?

That’s just it. Never really was about the purported crime per se it is about racial politics which is very anti-white. From the MSM to the government to all the little snowflakes. Look at the cast characters involved in this.

“the original prosecutors declined to prosecute.
Should they be charged with crimes and/or disbarred?”

There was no prosecuter. You’re thinking of the defendant’s drinking buddy, the DA. He resigned from the case due to obvious reasons; fixing parking tickets for pals is one thing - this matter is something else. He is already in the sights of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (if not the FBI) for his part in the mess.

But he apparently has never even seen the video tape the whole world has - the report says “McMichael stated they pulled up beside the male and shouted ‘stop’ again, at which time Travis exited the truck with the shotgun”.

Instead the video shows they were obviously already parked and waiting for the victim and, second, the killer was already out of the car and armed - standing in the street on the left side of the truck and charged, with his weapon, at the victim on the right side of the truck.
So the DA either didn’t see the video or just decided he could get away with letting the lies be.
Either way, he’s clammed up. In that way he’s brighter than the defendants (an admittedly low bar). If he were really smart he’d roll over on his buddies in exchange for a better outcome for himself.

By all accounts pretty much the entire county LE system is corrupt and in need of a good flushing. I expect it will be forthcoming down the road.

Prove he was a burglar casing the neighborhood

Prove he attacked first

The way this all looks now, Arbery was defending himself against 2/3 armed men trying to hunt him down.

The Killer Karens made me giggle, the alliteration reminded me the movie title “Killer Klowns from Outer Space”. But, yeah, good reasoned analysis from people who are def pro-2nd Amendent and know what’s what.

If you don’t want to believe in the rule of law, this is your right and your opinion

“Firstly, because he wasn’t “being gunned down,” he was trying to wrest a legally held weapon from its owner. Secondly, wresting a weapon away from a man who is not shooting at you or pointing it at you is not self-defense; it is attempted murder.”

He was being gunned down, 3 people, 2 with guns were chasing him around the neighborhood with trucks trying to “arrest” him.

That is being gunned down.

And yes, Arbery did have the right to self defense. The 2 of the 3 men committed the unlawful act of Aggravated Assault, which includes the threat of a deadly weapon. And they committed the crime of felony murder when they murdered him.

1 man is charged with criminal attempt of unlawful imprisonment. For chasing Arbery with his truck.

I don’t care what the left thinks about this case, it isn’t a left vs right issue. I don’t care what race the participants are because it isn’t a black vs white issue either.

If you look at just the facts, this does look like murder and I do believe with evidence presented the GBI charged the three men correctly.

Prove he was a burglar casing the neighborhood

Strongly indicated by multiple previous trespassing appearances recorded on video - at night. Not enough evidence to convict, but don't care.

Prove he attacked first

Its right there on the video.

The way this all looks now, Arbery was defending himself against 2/3 armed men trying to hunt him down.

No, it doesn't.

The way this all looks now is like a political show trial to remind the peasantry:

(1) White people are not allowed to criticize Black people for any reason.

(2) White people are not allowed to confront Black people for any real or imagined bad behavior. (See also #1)

(3) If physically attacked by a Black person, White people are required to submit to a beating or worse, without objection.

(4) Blacks must be appeased at any cost.

You’re just pushing your opinion as fact, simple as that.

They aren’t guilty of anything at all until they are found guilty in a court of law.

Oh, I’m sorry. I misunderstood. I had been under the false understanding that the jogger was attempting to take the gun away, and that the gun went off during the struggle. Had that been the case it certainly would have been a strange scenario for murder.

“You’re just pushing your opinion as fact”

Nope, you can verify everything I’ve said: e.g. the old man’s mental illness, his general overall unfitness leading to the DA not allowing him to have a gun or a badge and requiring that he sign an agreement that he would not even attempt to arrest anyone. It’s the only way they could put him in a make-work desk job where he was less likely to get the county sued or to kill someone (or both).
He was an ongoing royal pain in the ass, but he was in on the govt gravy train and could demand the promised gravy - unions, you know, almost impossible to can even the worst workers. Even more so when it’s a buddy and it’s a personal thing. In the private sector he would have been out the door a long, long time ago.

I understand that you are emotionally upset about the facts of the case, but that doesn’t change a thing. Become informed, don’t depend on your feelings.
