(Admin Mod, I know this isn't a proper article - these are my words, not from a source article, but Allen West is beloved around these parts and the only updates on his status after his motorcycle crash are kind-of unstructured posts on his Facebook page.)
Allen West left the hospital today, got home, and posted a video thanking everyone for their prayers and well wishes.
Since we can't embed video (especially Facebook video), go to this link to watch it: https://www.facebook.com/AllenBWest/
I hate to say it, but he looks and sounds pained. Mega-prayers for his recovery.
Here are pictures of him heading home from the hospital earlier today:
... Just putting a shirt on will be a rough experience.
And going to bathroom...
Looks like he is one blessed man
Mr. Mercat is also a road warrior but on a bicycle. Got a horrible road rash once. He had to grow a full beard. Thats the day he met his guardian angle.
Those who have gone down know, the day or two after EVERYTHING HURTS.
The only way I could describe it is ‘a giant shook you like a rag-doll’.
Good to see the man on his feet...not too many bikers that get to ‘ride the chopper’ are standing 2 days later.
Allen looks like he had a rough night in Junction City. He is a great guy and I’m glad to call him friend. I am encouraged by this report, I wish him a speedy recovery.
Praise God He is still with us and walking on two legs.
I ride (47 years) and have had a few spills, but nothing like that.
Praise the Lord for answers to prayer.
Nobody’s smiling...
:(
Thank you God, we pray for a fast and complete healing for him.
He’s a handsome man. He’ll be fine.
Thanks, I’ll send him one. I haven’t talked with him, but I’m getting reports through our Regimental Association.
Watched the videos of Nurburgring’s “Nordschliffe”?
Bikers falling at high speed in every clip. If the bike is roadworthy, they get back on and finish the ride.
The percentage of cycle accident survives is not really good. It’s why they make you pay high insurance.
He looks beat up. Luck (or the Lord) was on his side.
Good heavens, that’s rough.
He and Ryan Newman both survive, although Newman gets paid.
Great news. Thanks for posting.
I don't want to be obtuse; but...
...was she acute?
Bless him! Prayers up! Good man!
