BAY AREA, CA Honoring health care providers and other essential workers on the frontlines of the coronavirus pandemic, the U.S. Air Force will conduct two Memorial Day flyovers Monday afternoon that should be visible across much of the Bay Area.
The North, South and East Bay flyover will begin at Moffett Air National Guard Base in Mountain View around 12:30 p.m., when a HC-130J Combat King II aircraft as well as two rescue helicopters will take off and pass over medical facilities in the North and South Bay.
Meanwhile, at 11:30 a.m., a single HC-130J Combat King II aircraft, also taking off from Moffett, will do a flyover over the Central and Salinas valleys.

**6 engines on each wing**
Is it possible that you are experiencing double vision?
(smile) Well, it sure looked like 6 on each wing! Actually the HC-130J Combat King II has two per wing, the other items on the wing not engines, still the plane was a very noisy and impressive sight.
Headed to the South Bay per the article, not SFO.
They should have dropped something...lol
What a waste. Better off if Trump just opens up like it was before. He says he has the power. Just use it. Play hardball. Time for the recovery to begin. Newsom and the Bay Area government have shown they don’t care about people. They just twist things. Send in the troops if necessary.
We are about three miles from Moffett. Heard the heavy helicopters go over the house. Didnt bother to look because its such a common sight around here.
Snake and nape
The same 3 aircraft flew over my house 45 or so minutes ago.
Loud.
Used to work at Intel/Fab 1 on Middlefield, Mtn. View.
Loved to watch U2’s climbing at 45% with a real racket.
I only saw the NASA U2 research plane land once at Moffett while I was commuting on 237. Really spectacular seeing that plane aloft.
“Soaring” is what gliders and birds do.
