Gov. Andrew Cuomo on Monday refused again to give an end date to New York City's lockdown despite the number of new hospitalizations lowering to 230 - less than half what they were the day the city shut down.
Cuomo's requirements are that the city have 30% of its hospital and ICU beds free and that there are enough contact tracers - 2,250.
The city will only say that it has hired 'well over 1,000' contact tracers. As of Monday, 29 percent of hospital beds were free and 29 percent of ICU beds were free.

I will refuse to cooperate with any contact tracer for any reason. If you want to figure out where I’ve been in certain times, good luck because I’m Not telling you anything.

I work for a company that has been in Upstate NY for 75 years - we have been talking about moving to Indiana since 2018. This might push us to our decision.
All of our retirees move out of NY as soon as they can sell their house.

I’m in upstate NY. I had 33 people over yesterday for a backyard gathering. No one had a mask. People stood shoulder to shoulder around the bar, sat shoulder to shoulder around the fire. Generalissimo can come and get me.
Good for you! I have 13 here in Niagara county. But as I drove around today I saw plenty of non-social distancing going on and the smell of barbecue was wonderful!

I mean the virus itself is now on the side of re-opening. Anyone who can fire a few brain cells knows the virus is not anywhere near the threat we were told. Remember that 50% to 100% of Americans would be infected with a death rate over 3%. The virus itself is at a low of 600+ deaths yesterday. Even number fudging isn’t going to change that my much. So I guess now the narrative will be lock down until we get past the 2nd wave. For some states.
