The document, known as Executive Order 13924, instructs federal agencies to look at regulatory actions they could take to encourage growth in the economy. The order instructs “federal agencies to use any and all authority to waive, suspend, and eliminate unnecessary regulations that impede economic recovery.”
Among the complaints against regulators raised by PLF are that agencies fail to provide notice of the scope or content of investigations, use biased and unreliable evidence, and withhold exculpatory evidence, as they presume the other side’s guilt instead of bearing the burden of proof.
Other complaints are that agencies threaten excessive penalties to force people into settlements, that cases are tried before biased agency adjudicators instead of independent courts, and that rules are issued by mere agency employees, rather than by properly appointed officers overseen by the elected president.
Kay Coles James, president of the conservative Heritage Foundation, praised Trump’s order in a statement....“Freeing our economy from unnecessary government regulation will play a critical role in speeding up our nation’s recovery from COVID-19,” she said.

I think Trump is doing a splendid job. This whole virus thing and the economic shutdown for some reason seems like a deep state plot to sabotage the economy before November. I dunno. Hate to go conspiracy, but after all that's happened over the last few years...Never know.
Every business is essential. They are run by PEOPLE. The term,”essential” pissed me off the day it was applied to anything and everything in this flu. Wanna know who is non-essential?! Politicians!
If we had a King instead of a President Trump could do just that. But, we are not a Monarchy so, he can’t. We are a Republic so, the Governor of each state is responsible for the decisions of that state in this regard.
That said, blue-state governors showing the people their tyrannical bent is opening the eyes of a great many people and they are not liking what they see. The same goes for tyrannical mayors and town counsels.
This is an important moment in our history and many of these petty tyrants will later regret showing their true colors.

It may not have started as that but it sure as hell turned into it. This thing put Trump in a vice, he played as well as he could have but there was no way to keep the DNC/MSM from using it to force Trump into shutting down the best economy in a generation.
Nancy’s people are NOT working. They are in their home districts... and receiving paychecks.

We had a king....he did what he wanted.....ruled as a dictator.....spied on his opponent’s....all branches of government and the press praised his rule...fortunately for the citizens....he was term limited out....now they want his stooge to be elected so he may rule again...
Trump should order full transparency. Journalists, Think Tanks, academics and others should be qualified by SQL and software tool usage and then be allowed to BROWSE all databases of all agencies. No need to file a FOIA for any information that is subject to FOIA. It should be immediately available to those who have passed certain skill tests.
Living in a fishbowl would immediately make most of these agencies to shape up.
Not working AND receiving paychecks. Even better....all while the small “non-essential” buisness owner slips into bankruptcy.
