Interviewed by Joy Reid today, Charlamagne -- whose actual name is Lenard McKelvey -- began by saying "I know" that the Democrat party takes black voters for granted. As such, he said that he doesn't really care about the "lip service," while allowing that Biden's apology for his "you ain't black" gaffe was "cool, but the best apology is actually a black agenda."
But what is apparently of real interest to Charlamagne is Biden's position on reparations:
"In his black agenda of Lift Every Voice, he committed to studying reparations. And I just wanted to ask him, what does reparations for black people look like to him? And what is he prepared to do based on that study?"

“Who would get paid?”
Answer: People that were never slaves.
“Who would do the paying?”
Answer: People that never owned slaves.
But that last question is more interesting. Will the money be appropriated via a special IRS form for Whites only? If so, how do they separate those that came to America after the War Between The States and settled in the North? How do they separate out the Whites that are descendants of those that died to free slaves?
If the money is taken from general tax revenue, then Blacks will be paying too. Or will there be a special racial exception here? Will Hispanics, Indians and Asians be exempt too?
The point to be made here, is the whole idea of reparations is within the original definition of racist. To give a favorable tax exemption based on race is what used to be called reverse discrimination.
I think the Democrat Party should pay for the reparations.

At the time of the founding of our country there were more White European and American Christians enslaved by african & ME muslims than there were africans enslaved here.
For anyone of any race who hates this country so much, I would support reparations in the form of resettlement in Africa. But they can’t come back.
Won’t it be interesting if the issue of reparations for slavery contributes to kicking off CWII?
BTW, it’s telling that Leonard ‘Charliwoopdoop’ gamed this as a response that will let him backpedal out of this, and instead it just keeps it going and wrongfoots Biden.
