The Pandora's Box Opened with the Release of Trump's Tax Returns
American Thinker.com ^ | May 24, 2020 | Michael Bertolone

The Supreme Court should not require President Trump to release his tax returns on several grounds. There is not one good reason for his tax return to be released, and far too many why they should not. In addition, the Supreme Court should not vote along party lines on this issue. This should be a unanimous vote in order to send a message that the release of these documents would set a dangerous precedent.

Without getting into whether it is unconstitutional or not; for sake of argument let’s just assume it is not. All the problems that can occur cannot be foreseen. The Democratic Party’s constant attempts to reveal the president's tax returns could be the opening of the proverbial “Pandora’s Box.”

Pandora’s Box – “A present which seems valuable, but which in reality is a curse.”

The Democratic Party has attempted to get the president’s accountants and bankers to release his records. The American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) has a code of ethics which expressly prohibits the releasing of a client’s records. Doing so could result in the loss of a CPA license. Bankers have similar rules. Will those standards be compromised forever? What happens to other professions? Will lawyers be required to violate their attorney-client privilege? Will the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPPA law) be rewritten or eliminated? And how about journalists? Will they still be able to protect their sources?

The forth paragraph is especially interesting as Barack Hussein 0bama, the worst president ever comes to mind.

The requirement to release said documents is found where? As far as tossing ‘hippa’ rules into the mix. They’re pretty much gone with the CV19 bs and ‘tracers/trackers’ being brought up. Think apple/google becoming even more intrusive.

That hateful communist thug was not a legitimate president of the United States and has no business being paired with a title that is supposed to mean something. Perhaps Barack Hussein could be the legitimate president of Kenya after Uhuru Kenyatta, or of Indonesia after Joko Widodo. I just don't want a bigoted socialist on the same list that includes George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ronald Reagan, and Donald Trump.

Well, as much as we try to avoid deliberately using ‘g’, it is so tied to just about everything we do on our phones and computers, they still end up with way too much info and data on us. Privacy? Pffffttttttt! Long lost dream unless you go completely off grid and contact no one. And then a drone appears overhead. :-) Brave new world? Ugly new world.

Yep - your only requirement is to release your returns to the IRS, who do the assessment from a legal standpoint. If not legal, you get due process.

If liberals want more legal assessments, let them try to budget for more IRS auditors - good luck.

The Democrats do not seem to be able to learn from past errors.

If they “win” this battle they will lose in the long run as future Democrat President would have to release all their tax returns.

Then again that may not be a bad thing. Perhaps we could learn how someone spends their entire working life in politics and end up as multimillionaires. /s Rhetorical question since I know how they do it.

EVERYONE knows it is just a fishing expedition anyway. We will see if the ‘Supremes’ care about even a semblance of privacy OR they still just want to do the bidding of the Globalists.

No worries. The Left will just produce phony records and their Media will say how wonderful it is to have the info.

= = = = = = = = = = = = =
Agree BUT also feel that his actions etc should not be ‘swept under the rug’.

Like too many ‘bad things’ that happen -Slavery/holocaust/Liberals/Socialists etc etc,

You can’t hide it, you have to HIGHLIGHT it and hope people don’t continue to make the same ‘mistakes’

NEVER AGAIN is a great battle cry but you can’t have a NEVER AGAIN if it were erased from History and (supposedly) NEVER WAS.

Good example is/was Tom Sawyer.
How many of us read it and ran out and followed ANYTHING in the book other than conning people into doing your chores?

‘Banning’ the book doesn’t make the language to have NEVER happened....

IF.... they wanted copies of his tax records pertaining to THE TIME HE HAS BEEN IN OFFICE (to ensure he didn’t abuse the POWER of the OFFICE of PRESIDENT to ‘get rich’ (legally or illegally), that would at least be a logical request.

But that is not what they want.

Since he was audited every year and had a staff of tax lawyers preparing his returns, There could not possibly be anything ‘wrong’ with his returns.

That means the DEMS/FBI/CIA/etc will have to MAKE SOMETHING UP AGAIN.

When are they going to unseal the documents of the halfrican Obama?

I want to know who paid for his trip to Pockystan during the time that American citizens were prohibited from traveling to that country.

Who paid for his Occidental tuition and so-called Columbia education?

How did Barry Soetoro become Barack Obama?

Who is Michael Robinson?

Who is Larry Sinclair?

Who is Frank Marshall Davis?

Is it true that Stanley Ann Dunham was a part time prostitute?

Was the book titled “Sex Rebel: Black” based on the child exploitation and rape of young 10 year old Obama.

All of this information is sealed on orders by Obama himself. Trump can order it unsealed. Do it now.

Google is not the problem. Mostly, they just pass on info that helps advertisers promote to you the things you are looking for.

Where privacy concern would be more critical is when you go to the VOTING BOOTH. They ask you which ‘party’ you are.

It’s none of their business. Last time I voted, they asked, I told them, and they gave me a ballot with only 3 ‘issues’ to vote on. No candidates or judges.

WHY do they have DIFFERENT ballots for different parties ?

We already have an IRS to monitor tax returns, and Trump’s returns (and Limbaugh’s, and Hannity’s...) are under perpetual review.

The Democrats only interest in the returns is to use them as political weapons. You can almost hear the ads:, “No one should be allowed to be THAT rich when we have homeless and ___________ to take care of.

Obama released his tax returns when he was president. But I imagine the tax returns of Mitch McConnell, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and Kevin McCarthy might prove interesting, among others.

No sense in wasting “A-s” and “M-s” that could be used better someplace else. Use as you deem necessary. :-)

I’m betting that there is absolutely nothing abnormal or of interest, but that this is a distraction play to make them focus time, energy and attention on something that they would spend elsewhere.
Everyone knows Trump’s gone bankrupt in several of his businesses. There won’t be anything more than in Capone’s tomb and the people hyping this will look very stupid; possibly right before the election.
President Trump’s playing them, perfectly
