I just don’t want a bigoted socialist on the same list that includes George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Ronald Reagan, and Donald Trump.

Agree BUT also feel that his actions etc should not be ‘swept under the rug’.
Like too many ‘bad things’ that happen -Slavery/holocaust/Liberals/Socialists etc etc,
You can’t hide it, you have to HIGHLIGHT it and hope people don’t continue to make the same ‘mistakes’
NEVER AGAIN is a great battle cry but you can’t have a NEVER AGAIN if it were erased from History and (supposedly) NEVER WAS.
Good example is/was Tom Sawyer.
How many of us read it and ran out and followed ANYTHING in the book other than conning people into doing your chores?
‘Banning’ the book doesn’t make the language to have NEVER happened....
