Problem is Deng died in 1997.
When you have senile dementia time lines become confused as to what and whom you worked with and when. As memory fades they invent new memories that are very real to them.
When Joe Biden said what he said, he believed he was being truthful. It was real to Joe but it was not real.
Joe Biden is a well established liar in the past when he was mentally competent. His lies today are not really lies. His lies are a result of mental confusion.
If Joe is the candidate which I find doubtful he will not debate Donald Trump. That would be a disaster. If I were Donald Trump I would accept this and simple say, “I shall debate your Vice President candidate as he or she will surely be president in a year if you win the election.”
Soon he will be claiming he was steering the boat that General Washington took to cross the Delaware.

I just can't put my Hillaphobia away. Biden doesn't need an African-American woman for a running mate, he's got that vote, and he doesn't need a California native for the same reason. Logically -- that is, Democrat logically -- he should go with the "most experienced" woman. Of course, logically, she'll be even less popular than she was 4 years ago. But Biden would have a hard time explaining how Amy Klobuchar is better suited to take over, should the need arise, than Hillary Clinton. Same goes for any other contender. With Hillary they'll say she'd be ready on day 1. You know, at 3am.
But we want to know did Joe send a card or call?
