Timeline of the Political Persecution of Michael Flynn (VANITY)
Various | 5/23/2020 | rlmorel

Posted on 05/23/2020 9:25:42 PM PDT by rlmorel

The political persecution of Lt. General Michael Flynn is one of the most shameful political assassinations this country has ever seen. It is seen by some as a sideshow to the efforts by the Left to bring down President Donald Trump, but I have come to believe the events surrounding Flynn are central to the overall abuse of power and betrayal of the trust of the American public by the Obama Administration.

I view the lawlessness and bitter vindictiveness of the Obama Administration and its allies in the media who have played a major role in this scandal as the most corrosive and destructive actions I have ever seen by elected and appointed officials, and I feel that they threaten the very core of this country. There must be punishment for these crimes, or we will see even more brazen lawbreaking by the Left.

The events that led up to President Trump firing General Flynn are complex, and I believe that the evidence of malfeasance by the Left and the Media is more difficult to discern when it is viewed piecemeal, but when it is viewed in the context of a comprehensive timeline, the intentions of the perpetrators become far more evident.

To that end, I have created a table that is in chronological order and has key events that when viewed, in the order of action, make far clearer the poisonous and seditious (if not treasonous) intentions of those who wish to both bring down President Trump and preserve the legacy of Barack Obama.

One of the biggest hurdles many reasonable people have is that they have a difficult time comprehending why the Obama Administration would target a man like Lt. General Michael Flynn, someone who should have been a source of pride for this country with his sharp intelligence skills and faithful service to our country, but instead had his reputation destroyed, was driven out of respectable society, was marginalized, and financially ruined in a filthy, evil, concerted, orchestrated campaign of hard knuckle politics by the Left and their allies in the Media to exact a toll on a duly elected President by destroying a man who should be lionized for his efforts to revamp the military and civilian intelligence instruments. Most normal people are baffled, and cannot easily fathom this campaign by people who wish to keep alive the lie of the Obama Administration as somehow being the most transparent and scandal free in modern American history.

It makes no sense. But author Lee Smith has written a brilliant article that illustrates clearly and cogently WHY the Obama Administration made a special target out of a man like Michael Flynn and answers nearly ALL those questions.

Before looking at the table, I implore you to read this article written by Lee Smith: How Russiagate Began With Obama’s Iran Deal Domestic Spying Campaign

NOTE: I ask for your forbearance in both the content of the table and the format. HTML is not my forte, and I struggled a bit with the table. The table may be too large, the text to small, or any other number of issues. And the content is not perfect. I have taken it from multiple sources (some friendly, some hostile to conservatives) and it was challenging to find documentation or a link to the source of what I have heard and read these last several years. I apologize, I did my best to bring them all together, and I presume we can correct it as we go along. It is my hope that this can be somewhat of a one stop source to assist in giving a wider range of people a better grasp on the criminal and anti-American activities they have been engaging in.

The irony about Nunes is he was right and outraged only knowing a 1/10th of what we now know. His instincts that the whole thing was a hoax were spot on. In other words, he was doing exactly what his job was - oversight.

The GOPe shut him down in collaboration with their democrat allies.

There is no other real conclusion that can be drawn. Nunes was ridiculed by his peers, the opposition, and the media. That has not aged well, but don’t expect any of them to apologize.

The playbook for the deep state is pretty obvious now. Had there not been a direct soft coup attempt there would have been death by a 1000 cuts for Flynn and McFarland with endless OIG complaints, dishonest leaks to the media, and the list goes on and on.

Schumer said it best - “the IC has many ways to get ya if you anger them” (paraphrased).

Papadopoulos just said in the interview podcasts with Giuliani last week that he believes Huber is investigating what the IC community did against him and Flynn. We are not really hearing much about this in the media, but George said he knows that many of the players he named who mysteriously contacted him during the primary and transition have in fact been interviewed by Huber.

I think Barr has severed the FBI portion of the investigation and given that to Jensen as Huber had too much on his plate. Many FReepers do not realize that Jensen, the author of the motion to dismiss the Flynn charges, was in fact an FBI agent for 10 years prior to becoming an Assistant US Attorney. He is clearly a smart guy so he knows how the FBI works.

However, up until this point as stated by many frustrated observers, the DOJ, FBI, and intel community at large have tried to cover up what was done by those at the top during the prior administration.

They have generally been pretty effective.

Will Huber and Jensen get to the bottom of it and air the dirty laundry? I hope so, but up until this point the coverup may begin anew.

We have to take back the house. If we do, Nunes will be chairman again with Jordan, Gohmert, Gaetz, and some others who have the cajones to get to the bottom of it all. Losing the house in 2018 was essential to the deep state plan to thwart oversight and they did it with ease.

Graham will likely do nothing with his “big hearings to get to the bottom of it all” because they are going to play the same game they did with the Special Counsel. “On the advice of my counsel due to the ongoing criminal investigation I will respectfully plead the 5th.” Graham postponed the fight in the schoolyard after all his big talking on Fox News long enough to insure this would be the result of the Senate hearings.

The one thing the Senate is doing under McConnell is judges. The importance of this cannot be overstated and McConnell deserves some credit for it.

If we get rid of the RINO’s, but lose the senate (and judicial appointments, it would be a Pyrrhic victory of epic proportions. The importance of this for SCOTUS nominations is critical and it will be critical in Trump’s second term (Thomas will likely retire and the liberal side of the court is old and in poor health).

I would love to see many of them kicked out in the primaries, but only if we could replace them with proven firebrands like Collins in Georgia and not lose the seats.

A little late for that now in the short-term.

Everyone please pray for General Flynn and Sidney Powell to have a favorable outcome in court, that he will be freed from those attempting to harm him and keep him silent.

Dear Lord please intercede for General Flynn and set him free. Amen.

During the campaign and in interviews even prior to declaring his candidacy, Trump expressed his views of the Dept of Education that 1) it should be a state and local community issue - not federal and 2) that the Dept of Education was a bloated bureaucracy that hurt education.

The Dept of Education is owned by the left. The NEA is one of their most reliable union partners and the left uses education in a big way to advance their agenda and ideas. Having a federal overseer of education creates centralized control and allows them to force their agenda onto red states and our children even if their citizens object to a curriculum or other mandate.

Trump’s administration and his goals were derailed by the Russian collusion delusion, the passivity of the GOPe, and the rabid hatred of the left (including the media) so I think he has pared down a lot of what would have been his first term agenda because he is forced to calculate the political costs.

I would love to see him take on the education department if he wins a second term, but he lost the first two years of his administration (or more) to this farce and the wimpy GOPe and now his crown jewel (our economy) has suffered a massive setback.

There is a chance he could address this during his second term, but I think it is less likely now than I thought it was on election night in 2016 for these reasons. I might be wrong - he is a doer with an ambitious agenda, but the Dept of Education is one of the crown jewels of the left and a huge source of campaign donations so it would be brutal.

I don’t disagree that we (his supporters) would cheer loudly and strongly. However, the left will go insane so it would come with a high political price.

With that said, I would love to see him do it. As you say, he is a businessman so everything comes with a cost/benefit analysis. I could see him doing it in his 2nd term, but I understand why he did not take this one on during the first term and he might even avoid it in his second term.

The Dept of Education is as owned by the left as NPR.
