Former U.S. Congressman and Texas Republican Chairman candidate Allen West was injured in a motorcycle accident Saturday, his team said in a tweet.

Motorcycles are just dangerous...

Usually because of a car that didn’t look.

There’s a bad spot north of Waco about 15 minutes where the highway doesn’t shed water. We saw someone hydroplane across all the lanes, there, but wound up safe.

The highway in Waco and the streets all around it are under construction. It’s dangerous.

When I was 10 our cousins gave us two old “Whizzer” motors. They convert a bicycle into a motorbike. My older brothers were able to get one working using the used motors.

We couldn’t get it to start without pushing it, then jumping on just as it started. It really pulled. It would pull me and my best friend up Munn Hill with ease.
