If she has cancer, then her surgery isn’t ‘elective’. She needs to be demanding with Docs there. Unless she is, they’ll push her aside. My uncle was a Cardiologist in Mexico for 4 decades - she needs to keep pushing her Doc until he relents.

Chilean Spanish is a bit different than other nations, they have a unique dialect and use different verbs/adverbs.

I have to really concentrate to comprehend 100% sometimes.

Yeah you would think so but that is the way they are interpreting the rules right now. During her last check up they found she had two tumors not just the one they had told her before.

Sounds like an emergency to me.

Her daughter, who is a lawyer, is pushing every button and pulling every string she can find. I just hope it is in time.

Yes, Chilean Spanish is different. I learned mine in Costa Rica, refined it in Venezuela and then went there and found out I had to do a bunch of relearning.
