We have a relative 96 Year old. We have not SEEN her in person for nearly 2 1/2 months now. WE all talk about exactly this possibility. She is quarantined IN her room, we cannot see her and she cannot come out. If she does she will be quarantined for 14 days. Well, How do WE know if she’s being mistreated either.
She has her mind, thank God, but this is so depressing for her and for our family. Same everywhere across the country. Don’t we all know people that would “take care of” that sleaze bag guy?
This lockdown is AWFUL and uncalled for. We are not sick and we are near to the point of demanding to see her. What about others..... anyone agree?

I do! A mistreatment can be happening! Get your butt in there someway, somehow! Do not wait any longer! You will never forgive yourself if something bad has been going on and you will only find out to late. I know.

I am in the same boat - and I am FURIOUS! I haven’t seen my Dad in 2.5 months and this week we started Hospice Care for him.
We have a ‘Team of Experts’ all working on his case - REMOTELY!
WTF good does THAT do?
The County he is in (I live a county over - We Are Open For Business!) is locked down until May 26th - at the earliest. Not a SINGLE case or death from Covid in his facility.
Sure hope I can see my old man again before he dies, alone, when NONE of this needs to be. Grrrrr!
